One of the best French Restaurants in San Diego.
We sat inside and cannot wait to come back for another meal on their unbelievable patio. Started out with the escargot which by far on the top of the list in San Diego. Meaty, garlicky and just all around superb!
Then to the entrees - Duck and Scallops. The Duck prepared to perfection and the Scallops - a dish that was almost liked from its plate was to die for. Largest scallops around. Completed the meal with two crème which was fine..not amazing but good and their brownie which is more like fudge. I'd go back for that fudge brownie any time. Oh and the wine...thank you! thank you thank you - to having a good variety!
The decor inside is about Peacock...that is what Paon means in French. Worth the drive up - a great addition to the North County Foodies list~
