I love this facility and I love my doc., Dr. Riggs. He is one of the best I've seen in a long time. I have been very happy going here. However, I do have one problem and it's not with the facility. It is with the Doc I have to see when my regular Doc isn't around. He is Dr. Blomgren. I personally think he is rude. I have had to see him twice. The first time I saw him, I went in cry because of horrible pain in my throat/neck that was causing me to have muscle pain and headaches. He acted as though he didn't believe me and basically told me I needed to lose weight. He told me to eat better and get more active and sent me home. So later I went back in to see my regular doc. Dr. Riggs. He immediately told me I have something called Carotidynia. He felt my neck/throat and gave me medication. Thanks for believing me Dr. Riggs! Riggs- 1 Blomgren- 0
So after a while I found a polyp in my nose and decided to go back. They had to put me in with Dr. Blomgren again. He was rude once again. I hate the way he looks and talks to me like I'm a tiny ant he enjoys burning under a magnifying glass. Anyway, he did give me medication for my polyp. But I also mention that I had been have ongoing pain in my nasal passage, throat and ear. He just answered "that's not possible". I looked at him stunned and said "what's not possible?". He said "having pain in your nasal passage, throat and ear." All I could think was this guy just called me a liar, because I'm pretty sure I feel the pain and I thought of asking him "Haven't you ever heard of referral pain?" I have and I'm not a doc. I never said the pain was connected, I just said there was pain. He's lucky at that point I hadn't done a lot of research on the Carotidynia Dr. Riggs said I have, because once I did I found that it causes pain in the throat and nasal passage oh yeah and the ear among other things. He's a jerk and doesn't really care to help you. I don't recommend him. Blomgren- -1 Riggs - 100 Thanks for reading my rant.
