Disappointing customer service 4/28/2010

I went to Mumma's to purchase a microwave based on my contractor's recommendation. We were disappointed. They offered a price +28% above GE's MSRP. When we inquired why their price was higher than the manufacturer's MSRP they couldn't provide any explanation and encouraged us to shop around. So, we did and found the same model priced 33% lower at two other stores. When we called back to negotiate, we weren't offered a better deal and no one tried to convince us to keep our order based upon better service or Mumma being a family-owned business, instead, we were told in a hostile and aggressive manner, "so much for loyalty." To that I say, "so much for customer service." more
