Zooeys has been in Corvallis for over 30 years and has through out time offered absolutely beautiful clothes, a place to feel welcome in, and a kind, helpful staff of women of all ages, sizes and style. As a supporter of downtown businesses, I have never felt that I was not welcome due to my financial class in this store.
I am a working woman with many financial obligations as most of us are, but I have never been discouraged from looking, trying things on and occasionally buying. Whenever i need a break from life, I tend to find myself browsing through the clothing in Zooeys, talking with the truly genuine staff and even relaxing in there seating area reading the newest magazines. After leaving with or without a purchase, I always feel refocused to finish out the rest of the day with a brighter outlook.
As far as their return policy of seven days or their holding of items, we must all understand that they are a single, small retail store. We as consumers, can’t expect stores such as Zooeys to have hold items until our next paycheck or return things weeks or months after we purchase them. This is how a small successful business drowns in overhead.
I love Zooeys and what they offer to Corvallis, besides just gorgeous clothing. They offer fashion advice when needed, a comfortable environment to try on clothing and first and foremost camaraderie to every women regardless of they class or age.
