You claim this is typical--that debit cards are automatically charged 20% more when they eat in establishments. NO. We eat out often--ate at Carrabbas this weekend. We were not charged 20% above our bill. YOu need to check your sources and YOUR credit card company because this is not something that happens everywhere. I use my card for almost everything and I never had this happen till I ate in your restaurant. I was upset that you did this, and no warning either.
