I was referred to Modesti's by my previsou mechanic so I trusted them from the start. I had both front and rear breaks done on seperate visits. The first time I came they seemed to be honest-telling me I could wait ont he other set of breaks. Then on the second visit, only two months later, the laundry list of repairs needed came at me. I cross-checked pricing with my old mechanic and they quoted me several hundred dollars more. They were also rude and patronizing (John) when I reacted in surprise at the price. I have never felt so insulted at an auto dealer in my life and I have a pretty thick skin being from NY. These guys are a little shady....they wait to give you the laundry list until they think they have you. I mean why didn't those 'needed' repairs show up when they did their inspection two months before????
