I need a dermatologist for treatment of spots due to sun damage - not for cosmetic treatments. I find Dr. Finesmith to be excellent. Maybe the negative reviews are from people seeking a spa-like environment. Frankly, I'd rather have competence and honest concern for my welfare. I especially like that she chats to me to distract me from the procedure. And she takes her time. I'm very comfortable with her.
