Doug was highly recommended to me by a friend (and contractor) so my expectations were already high when I called him. Of the three companies I received bids from, he had the lowest price and provided the best explainations/suggestions. His team arrived on time and they were courteous, professional, and witty. They finished an install of a new HE furnace/filter box, hot water tank, and cold air return faster than expected (~6 hours) even though they had to work through a crawl space with <=18" clearance and an attic with a low pitched roof with <=4' clearance at peak. Being an older home, there were additional HVAC issues such as disconnected ductwork that they took the initiative to repair as well. Doug also provided copies of receipts/paperwork for the current rebates. As promised, they left the area cleaner than before, not to mention the new install looks much neater than the previous one. I would definitely use Northend Home Heating again and would absolutely recommend to anyone.
