I purchased an element for an old GE cooktop at Conklin World and to my dismay when I tried to return it (Yes, it was past 30days and as it turned out it was not the right part and therefore my husband was unable to install)I was told by Susan Chisan ,the manager - and I quote "it's not my fault that you didn't bring it back within 30 days!" She was extremely rude and could use some much needed training in customer service. Not only will I never return to Conklin World, I am certainly going to share my experience with everyone I know and suggest they never step foot inside the door. The package to that the part was sold in had been opened (we wouldn't have known it was the wrong part until we tried to install) but it is clear the part was never used and, in fact, is exactly as it was the day it was purchased. BEWARE: Conklin's does not stand behind their merchandise!
