I have a miniature schnauzer that I took to Webster Groves Animal Hospital once for her yearly shots and check-up and once to get her teeth cleaned. First of all, the hours are great. I felt good knowing that I had an animal hospital nearby that I could use in case of an emergency, but also it was easy to get an appointment with my work schedule. I forgot what doctor I had, but she was very knowledgeable. I was concerned about Annie's (the dog) drinking. She drinks A LOT of water and I was told by my previous vet that she probably had a kidney infection, there would be tests run and drugs involved. The vet at WGAH said she was fine and made a note in Annie's chart to give her extra water after her teeth cleaning. Turns out, there is no kidney infection and I'm glad she saved me the hundreds of dollars of testing and drugs when my dog is just really thirsty. I took Annie in to a couple different vets to get prices on her teeth cleaning. WGAH was definitely the cheapest AND they didn't have to pull any teeth. Other vets said they would have to pull at least 4 teeth...without even looking in her mouth first. I live in Chicago now and wish I could come back to WGAH for my dog's check-ups. It's so hard to find a reasonably priced vet that is open outside of the 9-5 hours
