when i decided to take my car in for repairs i called and priced a few places. when i talked to john wilbur i asked if there was a certified GM machanic working there he said yes. so i dropped off my car on a friday and on monday got a call from employee mark and got an estimate of labor and parts cost. nothing was ever in writing. so john wilbur called me the next day and said to add another 20 percent to the cost for machine shop work his employee mark forgot to add that charge!in a conversation with john wilbur he told me that he like's to do a prognosis on the car after it's all put together to check for problems? i asked him if he's expecting to find more problems. he said well yeah, we need to know why you need your heads redone and what caused the damage? but i said isnt that why you did the original 2 hrs diagnostics? i knew i was in trouble because i read those bad reviews. of course when the car was put back together the same check engine light came on along with the same problems. he kept the car for another two day's trying to figure out what i thought he said he fixxed he said don't worry i have my best guy's on it. that saturday i got the news i was waiting for, the fix would be another 2 grand! added upon the 3,000 i was already in.
i told him to put it back together and i'll pick it up.
so i ended up paying this rip off over 3,000 dollars to have the car with the same check engine light on and the same problems.
the only reason i marked one star because you have to!
i give this place and john wilbur a big fat 0!
