My husband and I have been going to Huffard for the past five years. The front desk staff is horrible. Dr. Goldman is like a slimy salesman. We put up with those things, because there are some nice vets that work there, and we really only had to go there for routine check-ups and vaccines. However, all of that changed this year, when one of our dogs became extremely ill. We took her to an emergency vet, and after a couple weeks in their care, her condition greatly improved. She still required ongoing tests and medication, but we thought it was safe for Huffard to take over her case. We were very wrong. Huffard does not have vets that are experienced enough to handle anything out of the ordinary. They did not pay enough attention to her care, and she died. Maybe if Dr. Goldman was more interested in pet care than in making money, the focus would be on the animals themselves, not how many they can get in and out the door.
