I had furniture and a lot of boxes of things I wanted to give to charity (instead of a yard sale.) When they came, they hesitated to take anything (even though I had been using the things myself). Then standing in a room with a large cross on the wall and an image of Christ, they started to talk about if I was "saved" or not.
I was very insulted and told them. I would prefer to give to a Catholic Charity like St. Vincent, but not if this is how I will be treated.
