Break out of American Cuisine 7/26/2005

The International Grocery store was created mainly out of demand by international students studying at SIU wishing to have access to their native cuisine, but the store also has a large American following. Part of the appeal for Americans is access to treats from other countries. A person shopping at this store has access to ginger candies, Danish cookies with fruit filling and chocolate covering, and a large variety of international juices. This store also carries international cheeses, breads, rices, and meats that are made kosher or halal for Muslims. The store also carries toiletries from different countries. more
