I always dread going in to get my eyes checked because more times than not, I end up getting a new prescription for my glasses. With the chain optical stores (Lens Crafters, et al), I've mainly been on my own, hoping that the glasses I pick fit my face and look somewhat decent. Days after receiving them, I always end up unsatisfied, but this was not the case when I visited Kenmore Optical. After going in for a checkup with Dr. Bochnak (who was also excellent), I spent a good half an hour trying on multiple pairs of glasses selected by the woman behind the counter. Not only did she pick out pairs that she thought would look good, she kept my budget in mind and made sure that she gave her honest opinion on each pair that I tried on. She was so helpful in finding the perfect pair of frames for me, that weeks after my appointment, I'm still getting complimented on how well my new frames look on me. They were not pushy at all, and ultimately left the decision up to me, making this my best optical experience ever.
