I won a "free" months worth of Karate lessons at Karate for kids. My son loved the lessons, and they like to encourage the kids with motivational speeches , do your homework, don't lie;......., but they are very pushy with the parents and expensive, you must bring your child in three times a week or he won't benefit, and they make you feel like you will fail if you don't offer your child this wonderful class. While my son did enjoy these classes, I felt budget wise, I could do so much more with soccer, football, and basketball at parks and rec, and he would get exposed to more than just Karate.
