It's hard to believe that this is the place where Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the song that would become our National Anthem. Admission is free, as is parking. You can walk around the actual remains of the fort, and see where all of the cannons would have been firing from. You can get a great view of the harbor, and of Baltimore. It's pretty quiet here, which is nice since it's so close to the city.
This is a definite must see for any history buffs!
