I love Shooters because it's very casual. It's opposite of most of the bars and clubs in the immediate area, and I find that much more comfortable. Most people know most people who frequent Shooters, and if you don't, it won't be long until you do.
I have generally gone in on the weekends when they rearrange the pool tables, and set up regular tables and chairs to accommodate the crowds they get to watch either college or professional football games. And, they get really crowded, really fast. They have lots of tv's at different angles so from anywhere in the bar you can see the game.
They also host pool tournaments for 8 ball or 9 ball.
If you are looking for a neighborhood kind of place, Shooters is definitely the place!
