He has done this gratis and with great professionalism and knowledge. He navigated the City code successfully, saving us funds to be used for families in need of affordable housing. Honest straightforward unpretentious approach 11/9/2009

Shawn has a very intuitive sense of what the customer wants. He often understood exactly what it is that I wanted before I could even articulate the idea. He is client oriented in that he has no desire to stamp his design agenda onto your plans. He simply executes your idea quickly and professionally. Recomended. more

We were very pleased with Shawn 11/2/2009

My husband and I were looking for someone to help us design our dream home. Shawn came highly recommended and now we know why. He is honest and has great insight into helping you design a simple plan or complex construction. He was available to work around our schedules and with his experience in design he was able to put our thoughts on paper. He is truly talented and I would recommend him to all my friends and family. more

Shawn Gillen does exemplary work 11/1/2009

I have had the privilege of working with Shawn in the design of a new Boys & Girls Club facility. Even though Shawn was doing the project pro bono, he treated us as if we were paying clients and worked extremely hard on our behalf. Shawn listened to our staff's input and designed a great facility. Shawn is a great professional, family man, has high integrity and will work hard on your behalf to meet your design needs.   • I began intus Design in 2008 to provide clients with large-firm experience, small firm affordability, and personal one-on-one service for both residential and commercial design projects.

    With over 11 years of extensive experience in commercial, civic & residential architectural design, I can help with any variety of project sizes and challenges. Completed projects have ranged from new interior stairs, one-room additions, and new single-family homes, to multi-million dollar commerical and civic projects.

    I believe very strongly in Responsibility; to the environment, community, and family. I enjoy helping others realize their visions, and work very hard to do so.
