What a rip off! $45 bucks to hem a simple dress that actually opened up! (Wrap Dress) Pros: The work was OK I guess Cons: Took a whole week and 1/2 to do a simple hem for $45 outrageous bucks more

Excellent job on a difficult dress 11/3/2006

I have a dress that I wanted to get altered to fit my small frame. This dress is difficult to alter because it's a bias-cut 1940's silk dress with no waist seam. I first took it to anthor highly-rated Citysearch tailor, and she flat-out refused to do it, saying it was too hard. I then took it to Zvart's and she was extremely accomodating. When I picked up the dress, I saw she did a great job. She took apart and resewed the entire bust area. She also added tiny straps that you can put your bra in, to keep the dress from slipping off my shoulders, which I never would have thought of but is great idea. more

Don't go here! 3/5/2006

Everything seemed fine when I dropped my suit off. But when I called to make sure it was ready on the determined date they didn't know where my suit was! They finally find it, but it's not done. And then (a few days later) they call to tell me that it won't look good or I have to pay a lot more. I told them not to do this extra work, figuring I would find another tailor to finish it. BUT it turns out they shortened my jacket sleeves at different length!!! Cons: Expensive, Took a long time, Poor workmanship more

I had a last minute trip and my new suit needed some alterations. Zvarts staff was able to finish my suit in 1 day, and I loved it!! it fit me so perfect. They provide excellent service. Highly recommended!! Pros: excellent service, Reasonable price, good parking more
