I first heard of the Zone Diet many years ago, but I opted do to Atkins because I loved the idea of eating all the steak I wanted. I lost weight on Atkins, but I soon got tired of my food options. I couldnt stop from craving bread, pasta and rice, even though I had a nice juicy rib eye steak in front of me. So I did some research on the Zone Diet and I liked what I saw. The Zone Diet is based on eating proper proportions of protein, carbs and fats and it works to help people lose weight based on the combination of foods and when you eat it. Since Ive been on the Zone, I dont crave any foods because nothing is forbidden.
