Zip's Hamburgers & Fish

I went through the drive-thru the other day and felt completely disrespected as a paying customer. The gal who took my order was absolutely uncaring. She gave me my total as if I was an inconvenience to her. I wrote it off as she was busy (even though I was the only one in the drive-thru). As I got to the window to pay she took my money and didn't say a word. When she opened the window to hand me my food she didn't say anything again and I said thank you and she shut the window without saying a word. No "you're welcome" or nothing. She never even cracked a smile. When I was there 2 weeks before that I had gone inside and even they were without smiles and acting as if you were inconveniencing them! If you are going to work in customer service, you should act like you give hoot! more

I have grown up in Tri-Cities my whole life. Loved Zips forever! But the service in the Richland Zips on Lee is by far the WORST service I have recieved in ANY restaurant in Richland EVER. The gal NEVER smiles, never says thank you, and I felt like an inconvenience instead of a paying customer. Very rude and unwelcoming.She rambled off her answers to my questions faster than I could even understand. If she hates her job that much she needs to find something else. My trip there this afternoon will be my last, and I will go to the Zips on Columbia Center from now on even though I work in Richland. I was very offended. more

This is a really good place to bring the whole family. They have a good selection to choose from, and their food is pretty good too. The one I usually go to has really big booths too, so you can fit a large group of people at one table. Their food is better than a lot of the big chain fast food restaurants. Very kid and family friendly, and quick service. They have good milkshakes too! more

Zip's is a great little fast food restaurant that serves burgers, fries and shakes like they should be. Old-fashioned and a little on the greasy side. You can eat in or drive-through. It can get really packed on summer days for treats like the shakes and ice-cream cones, or during events like boat race weekend. Restrooms are kept clean. The restaurant itself is kept nice and cold. Might I recommend the chicken strip basket, with tartar sauce and fry sauce. They have the best fry sauce! more
