Zion Academy has been a blessing for son! Having a child with learning disabilities & a school that works closely with you regarding this has been extremely helpful. The staff is encouraging & helpful & always takes plenty of time to answer my questions. I have always been made to feel that we are important & all matters are expedited quickly. I appreciate the fact that they have deadlines & requirements as this encourages the student to become independent as well as holds the parents accountable. Most importantly for us is that the curriculum is Christian based & it is evident that the administration is also. I highly recommend Zion! (Belinda S. from AL 4 yrs enrolled) more

Just as the previous poster states, Zion Academy cares nothing about your child's education. They turned into an evil business, jacking their prices up every single year and forcing you to lock in your rates. If you're late by 1 day, you might pay hundreds more! I took my son out of this ""school"" and they tried to charge me fees for that. I didn't request his transcript (which they charge for, and I believe is illegal), but they charged me anyway. When I didn't pay, they sent it to a collector. I refused to pay, since it was a fraudulent charge but now its a derogatory account on both mine and my wife's credit reports. These people are committing fraud and should go to jail!! more

Zion Academy is not a good home school. Money is more important to them thqn keeping good records or making sure your child has good material to work with or study with. They will send you to a collection agency and you did not complete enrollment, for money they have not earned. There are other home schools to choose from. Do not start an enrollment and cancel you will be charged full price and sent to collection if you do not pay. Look at schools that will not charge for such as that. more

zion academy of america is a money hungry program all they worry about is how much money they can get out of the parents, theres so many fees and they are over all the most expensive home school i know, please take your time and look around. my daughter was enrolled there and they cheated her out of her diploma, we had to find another school to finish up, sad thing was she had wonderful grades and had all the credits she needed to graduate, and because of an english essay that they failed her own she couldnt recieve her diploma. they failed her on the essay offered her a second chance to redo the essay but we had to pay 360 dollars to redo the essay which of course we did seens it was may and we had planned on her graduating she redone it followed the guide lines and spent weeks without sleep to make the eassy perfect we had it looked at by a teacher it was perfect, so we thought, we send it in and a week later got a phone call from zion letting us know once again she failed the essay, they wouldnt even tell me what was wrong with it, when i ask they simply said well you dont appear to be slow in anyway so you can read back through the books and figure it out, i was without a doubt very upset. they said she had two choices to sign up for another year and pay and retake the whole 12th grade again, and remember she had all her credits to at that point to graduate just failed the essay without and explanantion, and the 2nd choice was to drop out or go get her ged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL more
