Do not go here for pho!!! The pho soup I ordered came with only broth, a couple of slices of meat, a lot of noodles, and nothing else. It was an insult to the vietnamese nationa...

For the win! 8/5/2005

I ate here on my 18th birthday, and their food is the greatest. I get a little worried about chinese restauraunts, because sometimes they don't prepare their food properly, but everything seemed fine here. The egg rolls I had were some of the best I've had since I can remember, and their soup is excellent. I can't wait to go back and eat here again sometime, I highly recommend Zien Hong the next time you want some chinese. more

Great food at a great price. Located right off of Sandy, this place looks like a dump but serves up some great food. Try the string beans with beef when the beans are in summer.....they are great. The spring rolls, generals chicken and the sizzling plate are also very good and we regularily them. Only real con is that they don't take AMEX which is my preferred card. more

Unique & Exotic Oriental Cuisine

Owner Message
  • Come see why we have remained a favorite in Portland for over 25 years. Our kitchen puts a slight Vietnamese spin on standard Chinese offerings. We have a huge and varied menu, including tasty, spring rolls stuffed with bean thread noodles and cloud ear mushrooms, hot and sour shrimp soup with a lemongrass tang, and positively addictive deep-fried salt-and-pepper squid are favorites. Best bets also include General Tso's chicken and the chow fun--rice noodles stir-fried with crisp broccoli.
