I get a phone call from the owner Steve while my car is there being worked on. He states that because of how new my car is (2012), they need to order additional parts for my car for the keyless entry portion of the package I bought to be installed. This is going to cost me an additional $99. AWESOME! So not only am I not going to get everything I paid for in this visit, I'm going to have to return a THIRD time, and have to pay an extra 100 bucks that I wasn't told about when I originally paid for this package. (They were well aware of the car I had when I booked the appt). I said fine order the parts and I pay over the phone with my debit card. I ask how long are they going to take to get here.. etc. I was told I would receive a phone call when the parts came in. Three weeks go by and I never receive a phone call. I finally call and ask to speak to Steve the owner about where these parts are. He tells me they aren't here yet and to call back in a week or so. I literally call this business back about once a week for two months and get the run around from Steve-who is rude to me each time and acts like I'm annoying him. On one of these follow up phone calls about four months after the original service appt, there is now a new manager who answers the phone and she acts like I'm making up this entire story of me waiting for parts to be delivered etc. I had to explain the whole situation to her. I finally just ask for my money back- apparently these "additional parts are never going to arrive and I should just get my money back at this point. It's been like 4 months now and I'm STILL waiting for the service to be complete. She asks me where my receipt is- I tell her there is no receipt since I paid over the phone with Steve because he told me about the additional charges over the phone while my car was there being worked on the first time. I said please just put me on the phone with Steve since she has no idea who I am or the struggle I've had with this business for the past 4 months. NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK! more

Terible! 4/23/2014

They deserve negative stars. Went to get a truck undercoated and was told that they would be sand blasting the entire underside and coating it. Three months later and it is rusting and peeling. Took it in to see if they would fix it and got told that this is normal and that I have no righ to be upset. The owner was arguing with me in the parking lot over this and would only fix it if I payed extra. You can see shiny paint from the original where the lining pealed.. Which proves that it was not prepared properly. I never submit reviews but am completely baffled that this place is even allowed to operate with an owner that does not stand by his customers and instead argues with him because he has been doing this for twelve years and the customer is always wrong. Even if I was wrong I should not have been yelled at in the parking lot. more

In 2001 I purchased a new Saturn. I brought it to Ziebart to be undercoated and had paint and fabric protection applied. My car still looks new. I periodical have the interior cleaned and diamond gloss the exterior. In 2002 my friend got a new Accord. He said his car had factory protection and did not need to do anything else. Well, after 4 years he was kicking himself because his car began to rust and his paint was dull. I highly recommend Ziebart in Biddeford Maine. I trust the knowledgably and honest owner and employees. more

Awful!!!! 1/24/2012

As I write this I am still in dis-belief!!!!! Around Christmas time (Dec.2011) My wife and I had decided to purchase a remote starter for our daughter’s vehicle as a Christmas gift, we were also fortunate enough to receive a great deal from Groupon, I believe it was something to the affect of half off at Ziebart located @ 640-A Elm St. Biddeford, ME 04005, my wife and I stopped by their office before confirming our purchase from groupon, We met with Amber a very nice young lady who apparently runs the office, as well as Steve Maciejewski the shop owner. We were presented with the product and info that would be installed into our daughter’s vehicle. At this point in time we felt as though they were a reputable shop, so we went ahead and made the purchase and also scheduled the appointment for 1/16/2012 ,they said they would need the vehicle dropped off for the day. Our daughter dropped it off and away she went planning on picking up at the end of day. I however was called around noon time that day and was told that the battery light was on and that her heater only worked on high,(they let us know this to cover themselves) I explained that I was aware of the battery light and that it had been on for a few years and merely an idiot light, as far as the heater I would need to confirm with my daughter as I was not aware of this. I did confirm to be accurate, so Ziebart proceeded with the install. We were never called regarding picking up vehicle so my daughter headed to their location close to 5pm to pick up her vehicle only to be told that she had to pay an additional 80.00 for diagnostics, she of course was very upset as this was a Christmas gift and was never made aware of this prior to it being done nor were we! So Amber called myself and explained that we had to pay 80.00 extra because their unit would not work in her car and they had to do diagnostics to figure out why. I was completely appalled and made it very clear that we would not pay any extra due the fact that they never called us prior to doing this!!! more
