Dr. Ron Zedek has taken myself as a patient. He is very confident in his diagnosis and is compassionate to my conditions and life trials and tribulations. Dr. Zedek has a laid back approach to life but is a perfectionist in his professional approach and diagnoses. I will continue treatment with Dr. Zedek and will always be grateful for his help with my personal issues and chemical imbalances. I value his advice time and help. I was new to the valley a year ago and came to Dr. Zedek because of his location. I put up with him as long as I could, but I had to leave after this: He is habitually 45 minutes late...sometimes more. I was paying $95/15 min med check that was really 90 seconds. I couldn't discuss any concerns with him, because he could care less anyways. One week, I had to come in 3 days in a row to get my med check because he kept putting me off. When I finally was able to talk to him and (politely) mentioned that I was there three days in a row, he said, ""You are too fragile. It was 2006 I was 5 months pregnant w my son I relocated from Atlanta where I was being seen by a psychiatrist and on xanax and prozac during my pregnancy, well i had to find a doctor and I contacted the office indicated I was 5 mo pregnant unable to drive but need to be seen I took a cab from summerlin to his office the same day the secretary said they can get me in well i went and omg He humiliated me infront of everyone He said he can not help me im pregnant but come see him after i give birthhell prescribe me my meds i need i was so upset they knew i was pregnant i spent 40 buks on the cab and i was a high risk pregnancy anyways. he was a jurK i suffer from anxiety and depressionafter an assualt i had and he just was unprofessional he repeated my personal info condition while patients in office then he told me to come to the end of hall to his office. i should of sent him my cab bill 40 buks each way so wasted 80.00. i had the best pshychiatrist in atlanta for 2 years who spent time talking with me and ne ways the same night leaving mr Zedeks office my pressure got so high because i was out of my prozac and stayed 4 days in the hospital he should of never told me to come down he knew i was pregnant! heartless unproffesional jurc NO STARS for him! his ad in the phone book is untrue he isnt caring or sensitive he doesnt listen he is bananas Cons: everything more

This Doctor (if you want to call him that ) need to be reviewed by the medical board. He does not listen to his patients concerns, needs and anytime you speak to him he either stops you (mid-stream), tries to give you advice that is completly unrelated to the situation at hand and is so egotistical it's disgusting. He basically packs in is waiting room, gives his patients a few minutes and pulls out the prescription pad. He will argue with you over the medication you have taken for years (that has worked) and wants to change you to something he thinks is more suitable. How in 10 minutes can somebody sum up a person's problems? He wasn't even interested in reading other doctors reports, reviews and records. I believe he will mis-diagnoise you on the fly. \r \r He should stand on a street corner with his prescription pad and just take people's money because that's basically what's he doing but even worse. I'm not even referring to controlled substances. \r \r Somebody once told me that Psychiatrist's are the hardest doctors to deal with and I never really had big problems finding a decent one that could fulfil my needs. They also told me that after years of practice that Psychiatrist's only get worse. I can say that this man definatly falls under this category. \r \r I would rather hand my money to a call girl for theapy then give this many any money for his ""theapy services"". Dr. Ron Zedek was not only rude and uncaring, but he believes stopping Prozac cold is safe and does not need to be weened down. This advice led to hypertension and suicidal thoughts. None of my other doctors or pharmacists could believe he would be so ignorant.\r \r If he has advised you on this and you are now worse off, you have a law suit on your hands!\r \r Avoid this man like the plague.
