Not sure if they got a new owner or rebranded or what? Used to be my favorite pizza on grubhub, now they consistently under-cook their pizza to a point where a very thin crust is a little doughy. If you say "extra bake" they overcook it. Something needs to be fixed to get a better baked pizza out of this place. (Like it was before they renamed it) more

I think their pizza is pizzalicious! It's a great price considering how expensive it is to feed kids these days! Great tasting, Everyone in our household loves it! Keep up the good work Zazzos! The workers are also friendly and helpful! We're pretty regular customers! more

Great pizza! 6/6/2009

I love this place! I have had several of the dishes and they have all been great, but the pizza is the best around! Very clean, easy to get to. Very nice staff also! I think they also cater?? more

Zazzo's - 10 years and counting!!!! 6/4/2008

Since I live only 1/2 mile from Zazzo's. I really didn't appreciate the great food and pizza. I really haven't found a pizza place that has great pizza and great lasagna and spaghetti. The lasagna is fantastic and tastes just like it's homemade (which it is!) more

  • Zazzo's Pizzeria and Cuccina Italiana has been in Darien for 15 years. On October 1st, 2012 ownership changed. Dominic Barraco now owns and operates Zazzo's Pizza and Catering. Dominic's family has been in the pizza industry for over 30 years. Dominic learned first-hand from his father Sam, one of the founders of Barraco's Pizza, and Paulina and Vito, his grandparents. Sam's dedication, Paulina's love for cooking, and Vito's own experience working for his cousin at Vito and Nick?s, have been Dominic's inspiration through the years. Dominic wants to continue the tradition by serving Darien and the surrounding communities. Dominic promises to bring his current and new patrons an unbelievable experience. Dominic would like to thank his current and new customers for their loyalty and dedication.
