AWESOME DOCTOR 7/7/2007

I have had Diabetes for 24 yrs. I have been to several doctors but finally met the one that was an answer to all my prayers. Dr. Zaniewski put me on the insulin pump and has cared for me like no other Dr. has in the past. For the first time in my life I feel so good. She found the problem!!!! 6/18/2007

On May I stumbled into Dr. Zaniewski-Singh's office using a cane to keep myself from falling. Earlier in the week, I had purchased a walker. I was ""drunk and crazy"" more often than not, and had trouble finishing a sentence. My legs were horribly swollen. I had been to a cardiologist, and apparently had no circulation problems. Dr. Z had me take glucose readings at specific times for week. On May 16, I came back with the data, and she prescribed a medicine that contains an hormone that makes insulin work. AFTER ONE INJECTION IT FELT LIKE SOMEONE HAD FLIPPED ON A LIGHT SWITCH IN MY HEAD!!!!!! After a couple of weeks of steadily gaining strength, she also did a thyroid biopsy and now I have been taking a replacement for that hormone also. I have a long way to go to gain my strength back, BUT I'M GETTING STRONGER EVERY DAY!!!!! Pros: She knows her business. more

wonderful doctor 5/9/2007

I had thyroid surgery before. I came to see her because of a new thyroid mass on a stroke scan.She biopsied it and told me I don't need another surgery. My surgery scar was big and ugly. She did carboxytherapy and now it is much smaller. I am very happy to have found her. She is kind and patient and she really cares. Pros: great lady more

...and Dr. Zaniewki provides that. I can't say enough wonderful things about her and her staff. She is very thorough in diagnosing a problem and treating it. She's the first doctor in a long time I have felt totally at ease with and confident that she is doing what is best for me. She has addressed all issues that are relevant to my care, and she shows genuine concern. My wait time has varied from visit to visit, but I don't mind waiting when I know I'm getting the best care possible! more

wonderful Dr She really cares 6/14/2006

She really helped my daughter. My daughter was very self conscious about her acne and acne scars. The dermatologists didn't help but Dr Zaniewski straightened out her hormones and treated her with the laserpeel. The acne is gone and the scars are much better. My child is much happier. saved my life 6/4/2006

I had seen 2 previous endocrinologists for my thyroid nodules.She is one of only 2 endocrinologists in Houston who do ultrasound guided biopsies in the office. She diagnosed my thyroid cancer when no one else did. After surgery she gave me radioiodine. She is one of few endocrinologists liscensed for radioiodine. If I didn't see her I would not have been diagnosed or treated correctly. Pros: exceptionally smart, Compassionate, takes time to listen more

Great Endocrinologist, the one and ONLY 6/4/2006

Dr Zaniewski has been my doctor for a long time. She is one super smart lady , extremely Knowledgeable in her field. The thing I like most about her office is that they make you feel important and cared for and the patients comments matter to them. They have moved to an adjacent building where she has a bigger office, bigger waiting area and her new receptionist keeps an eye on the waiting time which makes one feel that the patients time is as important as the doctors.I would highly recommend this doctor to all Endocrinology patients, specially if you are looking for a Thyroid or a diabetes doctor. They do most of the testing in their office in the same visit which saves on time and co -payments too. Pros: Highly professional, Compassionate, Caring Cons: parking more

Not too Bad 3/24/2006

I have been seeing Dr. Z now for about a year. I agree that her PA is wonderful, and hope that she returns quickly after the baby. Dr Z. when you do see her (not often) is very pleasant and quick to the point. As far as the staff I haven't had too many problems accept for the part time biller that seems to not know her job. Most procedures like ultrasounds and biopsy's are done in office cutting back costs for patients. The parking is not too bad given that she shares the lot with many ther doctors and facilities. Pros: procedures done in ov, PA very knowledgeable Cons: Billing problems, Small waiting area, boring magazines more

Quite pleased 3/13/2006

Overall, I'd have to rate Dr. Z and her office as way above average. My wait time has always been reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and her PA's are excellent. You will not see Dr. Z every visit but when you do see her she is upfront and to the point with you. She spends as much time as she needs to answer any and all questions you might have about diagnoses, treatment options, etc. but if you want to be babied go somewhere else. Parking can be a hassle at times but that is the only negative I can see. I would highly recommend her. Pros: Thoroughness, Staff, PA's Cons: Parking more

I've been a patient of this Endo dr for about 1yr, have to say I HATE HATE having to go back but I have been doing so for the sake of my health & that they let me take my children in since I have no one to watch them. 1stly Popular WAIT TIME. Its always 2 hrs for me. & all i spend in actually counsel is like 15min. They add to stress & which in turn? Add to higher Blood Glucose&BP!? why dont the Recognize this? They should change the name of the Dr's office to the PA's OFFICE! . The staff for the most of it has always been friendly& nice and coos' w/my kids. Here recently I had a Refill problem and I called them and they was major RUDENESS going on the phone. the wait is terrible and it is always seem so hectic. her office staff does the best they can to keep things in order.you can see that her staff works very hard with little gratitude. overall though i do not recommend dr zaniewski. Is this an Endocrinologists' office or a Day Spa? 8/4/2005

I have been going to Dr. Z for several years now but have finally grown tired of the long (and I mean loooooong) waits, unfriendly staff, and inability to get time with the doctor (I have seen the Nurse Practitioner almost every visit for a year). She is now doing spa treatments such as hair removal and derm-abrasion...what about your real patients that need your expertise as an Endocrinologist? As expected, I am now having a difficult time getting an adequate copy of my records to transfer to my new physician. I do think that Dr. Zaniewski is a good doctor, but the overall experience as layed out above leads me to give her a below average rating. Spend the gas money and go to the Med Center! Dr. Z is worth the wait 7/27/2005

Three other doctors could not or would not diagnose my problem. Dr. Z kept digging until she found it. Others in the waiting room always become upset because of the wait, but I just budget my time. People wait because she spends time with her patients and lets YOU TALK to HER. This woman is a jewel and an example for other women. She went through chemotherapy for breast cancer and never missed seeing patients. I only wish I had known about her years ago. No one else could diagnose my problem 7/6/2005

Many doctors could not figure out my problem. Dr.Zaniewski is one smart lady. I waited 30 min on my first visit, while the staff was verfying my insurance. this was not a problem on subsequent visits. the waiting room is large. She needs new magazines. Be prepared to wait 4/28/2004

I have got to agree with the previous post. The waiting time is pretty bad. On my 1st visit, i had to wait 1.5 hours from the time of my appointment. If I had not driven far, I would have left. However on the next appointment, I only had to wait 35 min. until I was transferred to the patient room where i waited another 25 min. I know the doctor is busy, but I don't think it is fair to the patients to wait that long due to triple-booking, quadruple booking, etc patients. The doctor is very attentive and has a good bedside manner though. Pros: Attentive doctor, clean office, new office Cons: , small waiting room more
