I first was exposed to this office about 4 years ago when they sent a flyer about what they offered and said that they offered 0% financing on Lasix. It was just what I was looking for and went in to talk about Lasix. Dr. Debbie Zamora and her husband were the only two optometrists at that time and I was very impressed with them both. I had PRK surgery with Dr. Steven Dell and Debbie even came to my surgery. They are super friendly and helpful and very knowledgable. They won me over and gained my entire family as patients. This is a place that cares. \r \r Also impressive is that after I leave the office I get a satisfaction survey immediately in my email. They also send newsletters which I appreciate! This is an up to date office with up to date procedures. No more dialation of the eyes is perfect with me - they have a special machine that is a choice for you instead if you so choose.\r \r Thank you Debbie and Javier Zamora for your great care for my family. more

I have visited other Round Rock eye doctors and not returned because of the non-friendliness of the staff and doctors. But I love coming to Advanced Eye Care - everyone is so pleasant and friendly, and the location is beautiful. Wow! This office is unlike any other eye doctor's office I've ever been to. I was impressed the minute I stepped in the front door. Everyone here is so friendly and professional. I've never seen so much technology and equipment used to check my eyes before. These people really know what they are doing, and Dr. Zamora is tops! Congratulations Drs. Zamora on your new office. I highly recommend this office! The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The office is brand new and is the nicest medical office I have ever seen. I have moved around and changed insurance companies and have tried seveal different eye doctors in the last few years. This one is definitely the best! They have some new instruments that I have never seen at other places. The doctor told me that they used a laser scan to help determine my presciption to make sure it was as precise as possible. I have never had that done before! And I really liked being able to schedule my appointment online- very convenient. Pros: Excellent Technology more

I agree with momma it is a rip off. You need to have this test for 30.00 to make sure you don't have any issues or unseen damage to your eyes. Ok dialation would work in this case right? It is offered but not ""reccommened"" sometimes they don't even ask they just move you right along. Then I did not like my colored contacts and they wouldn't replace them. I had only used one pair. Really? It had been more then 60 days but I feel they still should have honored my request. Same goes for me with the toric lenses. THEY SUCK. The eye that has the toric lense is always blurry. when i told them that they look at my eye under the microscope and said nope it fits fine. Take about 10 minutes to settle down. I had the most thorough exam I have ever had at this office. The entire staff was very helpful and I really enjoyed my visit. This was the best eye exam I have ever had! As an engineer, I really appreciate technology. The technology at this office was incredible and much better than I have ever seen at other offices. I have been wearing the same brand of contact lenses for 20+ years. I have a stigma. in one of my eyes. Ok with that said I decided to try some place closer to my home because I have 2 kids and it is hard for me to find the time to do anything for myself. With that said I looked up their web site and was thrilled they took my insurance.\r That was until I got there.... I walked in with my box of lenses that like i said had been wearing for 20 years. She told me she want me to try toric lenses instead of the ones I had. I told her no because they did not work for me in the past and I dont want to fix whats not broken. she did it anyway. I let it slide......\r I get to check out and these contacts were spinning so bad in my eyes(the same way they did last time i tried them 7 years ago) she told me ""i just had to get use to them"" ""i takes about 10 min to settle down"" So i stood there for ten min and thought i was going to be sick they were swimming around so bad. I had her check them she said ""oh your right they are spinning"" so they gave me a new non toric lense and all was fine. \r Fine until check out.... almost 400.00 was my total!!! What?????? I said I am not paying that. They argued with me for ten min. Called my insurance again and said oops it will only be 177.00. Still that was crazy so I was tired of messing with them and paid it. Now they will not give me my RX until I come back in and have my lensed checked. WHAT? Ive been wearing them for 20 years??????? why should I pay another 30 dollars for her to tell me yes you can wear the lenses you have been wearing foever.... so needless to say stay away for this place they will steal from your pockets!!!!!!!! The doctors are nice but did not listen to me and I am so angry and contacting fox 7 on my side and the Better Business B. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Heard good reviews about this OD. Did not like the female doctor. She was rude and full of herself. I think people in this type of profession needs to be pleasant and personable. Would not recommend this office to anyone. Cons: Rude Doctor more
