Went to get my tires replaced after a blow out. They also replaced the rear brake pads while they were at it. I didn't have to bother asking for prices because I know they are ver...

Look, i understand that shops have expenses and need to make money to stay in business, but, i'm a savvy person when it comes to bike stuff, I do my research and i know how much i...

zen and the art of motorcyle maintenance 5/17/2008

I'm not sure what all these negative comments are about. I've gone there with my Ducati Monster and from day one I have been very pleased with the service. They do quality straight forward work. I used to work in a bike shop. From my experience, it's not unusual to have customers that are frustrated with the cost and time of a repair. These are usually people that have no concept of the work that is going into their bike. I suspect that those who left negative comments are just that type of person. Personally, I find it refreshing to go to an honest shop run by the guys who actually get their hands dirty and do the work. Pros: Immediatly get a straightforward answer Cons: none yet more

Zabor's Cycle Repair Rocks!!!!! 3/13/2008

These guys are awesome. They're not jerks, they just don't sugar coat and give it to you straight. They know motorcycles, dirt bikes, etc inside-and-out. I go in once or twice a year and they're always courteous, fast and HONEST. IMO, in any sort of repair business, honesty is the most important factor. For motorcycle repair, these guys are top notch. I even just stop by for questions/tips, and they never hesitate to help out. Two thumbs up.\r \r And for what it's worth, they're the place to go for a motorcycle inspection. I've had 5 or 6 bikes inspected there, and it's never taken more than 5-10 minutes. Pros: Excellent expertise, friendly, cheap, HONEST more

AVOID THIS PLACE 1/28/2008

Do not do business with this company. Rude. Over priced. Jerky attitudes. They pretty much just have a small select list of customers, everyone else gets the shaft. If they don't know you, expect to get reemed. Typical east side mechanics, chop shop type atmosphere, will take you for a ride if you dont know what your doing. Untrustworthy, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Cons: Yes, there are cons more

GREAT motorcycle shop...honest to a fault! 12/2/2007

Zabor knows motorcycles, period! I live in Houston and have been taking my bike to Zabor's for 4 years now, with no complaints. Tha't right I come from Houston, just to have Zabor's do my work. He, Zabor, can appear gruff to some, but only those that don't take the truth well. He will tell you the honest truth about your bike, even if you don't want to hear it. Most business will lie to you, just to get your business, not ZABOR's....100% recommended. Pros: Truthful, Honest, Respectible, Cons: Busy shop, but can get in. more

Rude and Slow 10/30/2007

Just bought a KLR650 from a friend who had the motorcycle in Zabor's for 2 months before I could take posession. Zabor's attitude was ""we'll get to it when we get to it"". When I finally got the bike back from Zabor's, the first day I rode it, the clutch cable broke and the petcock went to leaking. I had a big trip lined up for that weekend. What did the guy at Zabors say on the phone when I told him? ""Looks like you're sh!t out of luck"". Sorry, but I can order parts just as easily as Zabor the Rude. And put them on with my own hands, thank you very much. I cannot recommend. Pros: Knowledgeable Cons: Rude and Slow more

Best Motorcycle repair 8/11/2007

No bs, great prices, fast turn-around. Bought a set of Metzeler tires for my bike. They were the best price in Austin, trust me I checked. Pros: Fast, honest, great price Cons: None that I had more

Awesome service 6/26/2007

Ok, so he's a bit curt, but Paul is number one in motorcycle repair. He's cheap, fast, and honest. Trustworthy, and does good work. He is going to tell it to you straight, and if you can't handle that, then go to Woods and pay 30% for a little brown nosing. more

Very rude! 6/11/2007

The tech that I spoke to at Zabor's was very curt. He refused to work on my bike, and was rude when I asked for basic tech advice. I would not recommend using Zabor's at all. They obviously don't need the business. Cons: Rude more

Rude 6/5/2007

I have called multiple times to attempt to take my bike in and they are always rude on the phone. Whatever happened to customer service. Is it not possible to fix motorcyles and be nice? Cons: Rude, bad customer service more
