Yuvan Med Spa

Absolutely do not use this spa! The office is very nice and relaxing but that is the only good thin I can say about it. I have had many hair removal treatments that I paid up front for and it does not work. I have told them that on several occassions. They continued to treat me the exact same way. According to other reputable companies they are very conservative and choose to use up your package with useless treatments in order to make you continue to pay after your package has ended. When talking to one ""nurse"" I was told additional treatments would be free and then the owner said that was wrong. The owner has a very ""could care less"" attitude. She only wants your money and she only wants you to keep coming back and paying her. When spoken to about this problem, the owner actually asked me if I had a thyroid problem that would counteract the treatments. Do not use this spa! You should save the gas and burn your money for the heat. Pros: nice office Cons: inexperienced, don't care, only want more money, no business skills, don't care about cust. satisfaction more

I will make this short and sweet. The owner has no business sense, and is cold and out to take every dime from people. She has no idea how to build a business with customer loyalty and will try to take your last dime each and every time. Seems like there are different receptionists every time you visit, and there is only 1 person doing services. I felt the staff of Yuvan was very warm and friendly on my first visit. I will certainly return as they seem to be very knowledgable about the services and benefits of the services they offer. The spa seems calming and I am interested in learning how to take better care of my skin after my consultation. I would recommend Yuvan to my friends and co-workers. The esthetician who does facials does not wear gloves and does not wash her hands before. Unsanitary! more

This is crazy... obviously the owners or staff of this place are writing the reviews because somehow the highly rated ones all sound like they are written by the same person... yet the negative reviews are varied.... and somehow there are none in between???\r the staff turnover is ridiculous, unqualified receptionists do skin analysis', its all about the sale and if you have a problem, you can never reach the owner who's always there but not available...\r At one time you could never find an appointment time because the place was so busy.... now the place is empty.... that speaks for itself.\r The staff are wonderful and always try to make you feel good..... the owner is another story! I am not a spa person I have been to a spa maybe six times in my entire life. I went to yuvan medspa last week for a facial and massage since I got a gift certificate from my husband. It was one of the best facials ever. Sidhi did my facial, angelina did my massage. She recommended that I do a vibrademabrason within a week which I did. We had a family gathering this weekend, and every single person was commenting on how my face was just glowing. Surprisingly, even my 12 year old son commented on how my face looked so clean. They got a loyal customer. It was a very calming, and relaxed environment. The staff was wonderful and from the minute I walked in they were very courteous asking if I needed any water,etc. I would highly recommend their services, it was relaxing and very result-oriented. I recently went into Yuvan where I was treated horribly. They give you some analysis called a visya where some computer tells you how bad your skin is. while doing this some girl who doesn't even have a degree in any type of medical care tells you what she thinks you should get done. then they tell you the person who would do the procedure is just a pa not a doctor of plastic surgeon who only had training from one doctor! they tried to sell me products i didnt need. i came in for a facial and left without it after being insulted. at 30 years old, having few wrinkles, i felt insulted by the girl telling me she thought i needed botox! if you want to get insulted go here. they will sure do it! I have had IPL photorejuvenation done at Yuvan and I love it. I have had so many great comments about my skin. I am very happy with my results and highly recommend this service. I have been going to the gym and I follow a diet plan but I have always had a belly and love handles no matter how much weight I lost. I went to yuvan medspa November 2007 for Elite Lipo Dissolve. Their PA explained me the procedure in great detail outlining every single side effect, etc. she was very thorough, so I felt very comfortable with her doing my treatment. I had my first Elite lipo dissolve right around thanksgiving, and I got the swelling just like she had said I would. I wore my binder religiously for 10days and used arnica. When i went back for my followup at 4weeks I had already lost 2inches which I was very excited. I still had to wait another 4weeks before my next treatment so when I went back I had lost another 1.3inches at this point I was very pleased with the results with my belly so I decided to get my lovehandles taken care of. I have lost another 3.6inches to my lovehandles. I just had a treatment to my inner thighs. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone, though you still have to do your part. You cannot eat 2chicken sandwiches for lunch just because they are free. watch what you eat and do your regular exercise. I went to Yuvan Medspa Monday for a consultation. I met the owner and the physician Assistant, Siddi she is the best. She is very knowledgeable about their services and products. she did my skin analysis with this machine called VISIA and explained to me what I can do to make my skin and face look younger. When I went there I did not even want to hear about botox, but she told me what it is and what it can do. I took her word for it and went tuesday to get some injections done. I was very nervous since I have never had anything like this done before. I got the virtual ""liquid facelift"" that she spoke about. she did juvederm to my laughlines, my fold around the nose, and around my chin area. She took away my frowns and sagging with a few injections. Than she did some restylane under my eyes and the tired look that I have had since I could remember was instantly gone. It literally took 10years off my age instantly. I love my botox, it has lifted my eyes and opened them up and it is just the third day today. I can already tell the results. I met up for lunch with my girlfriends this afternoon and they said I look very rested, I told them what I had done and they are going to go to Yuvan to meet the Queen on botox, juvederm, and Restylane. This is one of my favorite places, I wish I had ton of money that I could be there all the time. I would recommend Yuvan Medspa to everyone. I had Lipo-Dissolve at the Huntersville location in Oct 07. I paid $1000.00 for 6 treatments After receiving 2 painful treatments, I noticed no difference and a lot of weight gain (approx 7-10 pds) I work out 3-4 times a week, have a personal trainer 3 days a week so I think I def do my share or more of exercise. I called to cancel my 3rd appt after realizing that there were zero results and secondly it was the most painful experience I've ever had and I have been through natural child birth. When I called to cancel my appt and ask for a refund they told me that I would only receive a $200 in house credit and that WAS IT. I'm no math expert but when you break down $1000 into 6 treatments you get $200 per tx. I should get $600 back. I then asked to speak with Dr. Voci after the NP that administered my tx's offered absolutely NOTHING and of course he wasn't in, I left a message and 2 emails for him to call and to this day Feb 21, 08 I've gotten nothing. I would also like to add that I to had Botox at Yuvan both sessions the bottle was already opened. I will never go back due to lack of professionalism and patient care. Obviously, they are in it for the money. Or I would have had a call by now. more

well. nice spa nice decoration, a lot off marketing, goodwork . I went to gey a botox which will be my 5 botox so i know how it works i ask them the open the bottle front of me they did it but somehow she kind off opened bottlr her back to ne so i realy didint see it if the bottle was new or not and they tall me they cant do it next time we all kno ifyou dont use botox in a 4 hours it doesnt work and i know if botox waits there a 1 hours its not strong at it is before so i got my shoots left not to happy its 3 day today i dont see nothing diffrent i try call everythime i did she was sonehow busyy i will wait couple moredays the see if i will see anyresult, just the let you people know you have can ask them open the bottle front of your eyes if they dont forgettt it more

Yuvan knows how to do it right!!! After many failed attempts at Lazer Hair removal I went to them with a coupon and IMMIEDIATELY saw success - now after signing on for some packages I am very happy to say that I am smoother than I ever thought I could be. I also did Botox and juvederm which is a filler and unlike another treatment I had a year ago somewhere else, the Physicians assistant did an amazing job and made me look great... I've nver seen anyone do Botox in such a way that made someone (me) look like I had gotten a subtle brow lift... The P.A. is a genius and I have already sent two friends her way for the same ""liquid facelift"".... they were VERY happy and both signed on for other things too..... DEFINITELY give them a try... I tried some other med-spas in the area first and it was a waste of my time and money... Stick to Yuvan if you want the full experience - they are great!!! BEST MEDSPA AROUND!!!! I just loved everything about this place. They have the most relaxing atmosphere, no noisy hair dyers(like salons), no upbeat music, very friendly staff, and great therapist. I go once a week for a massage and facial, and once a month for laser treatments. I have also done Botox with Yuvan, and let me tell you it was the best that I have done in 10years!! SIddhi, the Phys. Assistant is very precise and takes the time to ensure you are happy. I highly recommend the massage therapist, Terri, and the aesthetician, Christine. Go to YUVAN medspa. I love the place. I had a bridal party there, thanks(nicole) and I am getting married in November and my skin is glowing after the IPL's, siddhi their Physician Assistant has done wonders for my skin. My bridesmaids loved the whole experience and retreat. They appreciated the sheerness of their make-up line. I enjoy massages with one of their therapist, terri, the best masseuse in town. Christine is great too, she is their esthetician and she takes that extra step each time I go there. Pros: friendly and professional staff, relaxing atmosphere, can't get enough of this place more

I love their facials. These are more than just a pamper, they call it corrective facial. I have tried both their classic facial and the stem cell facial. My husband loves their gentleman's executive facial and massage. There is no oily, goopy feeling with their products. They use the top notch products during their facials and I am hooked on their stem cell facials. It is completely relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I have been to other medi-spas but nothing compares to YUVAN. I highly recommend it to anyone. I have always had big pores and their staff helped me select the correct services and skincare and my skin is glowing. I don't have to wear make-up and people stop me and ask what I do to my skin. Their Vibradermabrasion treatment is the best procedure I have ever had. It left my skin smooth, soft and glowing for weeks. I get compliments from my husband. I also bought laser hair removal packages with them and even with 2 treatments I have noticed a major difference. It is not painful but very effective.
