They do wonderful work. I was so pleased to find such a good alteration shop in Mt. Pleasant. They do wonderful work, they had very reasonable lag times, and their prices are very competative. I can't recomend them enough and was very pleased with my dress, which needed a lot of work. more

I've had several suits altered there and they are by far the best in Mt Pleasant. Suits aren't easy, but they did great work. The owner, Bonnie, was named one of the most influential businesswomen in Mt P. She is also the best seamstress in the shop. They are very busy because of their reputation, so expect a couple of week turnaround. I know they will accommodate if there is a pressing need like wedding, funeral, graduation, etc. Their prices are fair and they are very pleasant. I can not recommend them enough. The negative comments seem mean-spirited and I've never had anything other than outstanding service. more

I wouldn't even rank this 1 star. The hem was crooked, bunched up and the stitching used in the hem didn't match the rest of the jeans. I honestly think a four year old could have done a better job. Trust me... take your jeans somewhere else. more

I have used this shop probably 3 or 4 times, mostly to hem pants and jeans. The work is very good. They do charge you up front and they do take a least 2 weeks. Get the impression they are busy. They hem jeans to look just like the original hemline - this is a little extra, I think it was $25. A regular hem is $17. I used the first option and the jeans looked just like when I bought them, only a little shorter of course. Never had a problem. Not sure where else you would go in Mt. Pleasant, there aren't too many options and the others are very good. more

They have the best seamstresses in the lowcountry. While I was in there recently, a women from NY came in and said that she had heard about them all the way up there. This is a 5 STAR rated service. Simply the best out there. In fact there is an article on the back wall naming the owner as one of the top women owned businesses in Charleston. I also understand that they do work for a ton of the top womens and bridal stores in both Charleston and Mt. Pleasant Pros: Wonderful service more

After being told they only needed two weeks to alter my wedding dress, I dropped it off two weeks prior to my wedding portrait day. I was told I could pick it up at 10am on Thursday morning. I went to pick up the dress on Thursday at 5:30 and my dress was not even there yet! The seamstress came running in the door with the dress. I tried it on and the hem had not even been altered! The seamstress quickly grabbed a needle and thread and hand stitched the hem leaving puckers and dress. It was very poorly done. THere is not always a seamstress there is able to pin your clothing for alterations, so make sure you call before you show up. I went several times and had to keep going back when someone was available. I would not recommend them. Cons: Very poor alteration job & poor customer service more

It was clear from the begining that this staff was overwhelmed. I asked several times if they thought they could alter my dress correctly and they reassured me several times they could. The day I was supposed to pick up the dress, they called and gave me a quote that was more than double the original. I asked if the dress was ready and they replied it was not. When I finally did go to pick up the dress, it was a total mess. The hemming at the bottom was very poorly done and all of the stiching showed through. They created seams where there had been none before. My dress was ruined. Only bring clothing to this shop that you don't care about and certainly plan on paying at least double what they quote you. I will never return to this shop for alterations. Pros: In Mt. Pleasant Cons: Entirely incompetent. Maybe nevered sewed before in their lives. more
