it's nothing fancy, but it doesn't claim to be. it's open all day and night and everything they've got is laid out in front. you can copy, fax, get prints made and pick up course packets. nowadays, their paper-and-pen system is nearly archaic, but you gotta love the people and place for doing a great job in an efficient and effective manner. it can be a bit crowded at times but I've never seen mistakes or unfriendliness. more

York Copy 9/3/2005

I've been here a million times -- they are always open (literally -- 24 hours a day) and there always seem to be people in there!! I've had lots of items copied there as well as some binding done. They have always done great work -- no matter what the job. I think their prices are reasonable and they are conveniently located to Yale University -- so lots of college students use them as well. I believe you can also buy paper (ie. colored paper) and they have a small selection of office supplies there as well. I'd rather give my business to them than the massive chain copying places! more

The best thing about York Copy is that it is the only printing store in the neighborhood that opens for 24 hours every day. The store is equipped with several copiers for self-service. It also make course packets. Besides, you can send or receive faxes here when you cannot find a fellow student with a printer-fax combo machine. more

ufriendly, but convinient 8/16/2005

You won't find the most friendly service here, but when you need to make copies of your friends notes at the end of the semester and don't want to pay the ridiculous prices they have at the Yale libraries, it's the place to go. Often times some of the copiers will be broken, so you'll have to wait online, but I guess that's what you get for convinience! more
