terrible food and waste of money 11/1/2008

Soup was no good. It smells terrible. The sea food taste like spageti sauce. Please, before you serve your food., taste it. I still wondering how this place is still open. Very impolite manager. Please, change the mangement. Take a look at the Greek food Restaurant in Placentia. If you are college students you better of going to Subway. Pros: nice city Cons: Food more

Not very authentic Greek food 7/16/2008

Not much high quailty food during dinner time. Very salty, beyond mediterain style. Unfriendly service, did not contact my party when a table was free. And host actually recommanded other restraunt for my party and I (?). Dirty spoon given to guest and forgot to service a coke after 5-10 minutes. And wait for food was over 30 minutes when only ten other guest were in the resturant. Pros: Not much, maybe the soup Cons: Salty food, slow and unfriendly service more

Yianni revelry 2/4/2004

In the midst of collegiate Claremont one finds a classic Cretan taverna hefted right into its midst, the name, Yianni's. Walk in although you have just finished a days fishing in the Aegean and set down to enjoy a classic Hellenic spread. Zeus himself would approve of an appetizer of fried pita, the house peasant red wine and the sagankie cheese flambeed in brandy, gooey in the pan, glistening in lemon juice. A simple feta and eggplant omlette, along with the egg-lemon soup, salad in delicious dressing, olives tumbling in the tang, baklava and Mavorodaphne sherry that accompany all dinners, and one has the defintion of bliss. Pros: Classic recipes, Value for money, Ambiance more
