CONSUMER BEWARE - WE CALLED A PLUMBER out of the Crete yellow pages for a new sump pump....OUR FAULT FOR NOT GETTING A REFERRAL FROM FRIENDS. All Service plumbling told us a technician or service guy would be $78.00 or $79.00 and that money would be applied towards a new sump pump. OK....well this is what the service guy (who was very nice) said to my husband. After talking to him about various types of pumps he said for a sump pump and a battery would be $3000.00 - $4000.00 dollars. Oh...I also think he discussed cheaper price for $2,000 - $3000.00 which still is ridiculously high! My husband was shocked and sent the guy away. We know this company took us for a ride by giving us such a shockingly high quote. As a matter of fact, I called the company as a concerned wife and said do you believe the quote...that's ridiculous!!!! The manager initially told me with the first phone call....i think your mistaken....I said no I'm not. The manager then called me back and said you are right my service guy did quote me this price and then explained why and defended this guy's actions. Now as a consumer I also was upset on the phone but the manager also was not so nice either! How would you feel if someone quoted that kind of money to you. Anyway...consumers...do not use this company unless you expect to pay lots of money! The service guy did not even discuss a cheaper price to my husband. I spoke and went to 2 difference Ace Hardware stores and they even agreed .... the service guy tried to take us to the cleaners!!!!!!! CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!! more

Upon finding the drain leaking in the kitchen sink, I called All Service Plumbing to get a price quote. While they told me it was a $79 service charge, they neglected to say that a simple drain replacement would cost $629 more. The cost related to the timeframe spent to replace the drain equated to about $$700 per hour!!!! I would strongly suggest another company that is more in line with what the costs actually should be. They also try to sell you a plan that will ""save you money in the future"". Save your money and find another plumber! more

My constantly clogged drain finally warranted a call to an actual licensed plumber. I heard good things about Yes Plumbing, but initially hesitated due to their above average costs. I had other ""plumbers"" come out to help unclog my drain, but after a few weeks it would just clog up again. Finally, I called Yes and was totally impressed by their services. First, the guy was super conscious of his shoes when he came in the door. I usually tell people to take off their shoes, but he was already putting these little booties over his shoes to keep from tracking dirt into my house. That was my first clue that you do indeed get what you pay for. After explaining everything on the forms in detail and talking me through each step he took to unclog my drain (while not making a mess), he also used an eco-friendly drain cleaner (BioClean) that uses natural enzymes and bacteria to keep the drains from building up. I was very pleased with his services. I particularly loved the can of drain cleaner he gave me, because that showed me he actually cared about our health and the environment while helping prevent plumbing problems, and not just about making money by fixing them. He came out 3 months ago, and I still haven't had any clogged drains since then (BioClean actually works). I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing work, because he was definitely worth every penny.
