Expect to wait and then wait some more.
No surprise though, once you walk in and witness the awe of these lethargic, red eyed, half wits. Half the crew stands around talking amongst themselves, as the other half look at you and consider approaching the counter to take your order.
Finally someone comes to help you. They seem to move and speak in slow motion, hardly understanding what you're saying as they press the keys on the register. Confused by it's complexity and pressing the wrong keys, this orders a bust. Call a coworker over to help figure it out. Ok, start over.. repeat the order, alright entered correctly this time, all is well.
Finally the order is in, I have my card and it's time to go sit on the rickety chairs in the front of the store for 30 minutes to contemplate how these people manage to function in day to day life.
This is all if you actually catch the place open! They have regularly changing hours of operation...
Now, should you chose the delivery option... wow. Good luck with that. They deliver to a very small section of lawrence. I could drive to yellow sub in under 5 min, and I'm out of delivery range, by one block. Too bad for them, I'm a really good tipper.
Since I've never been able to get them to deliver to me, I'm gonna rely on jayhawk11's delivery review to be accurate. Seems to match up to the in store experience and what I would expect if I could actually get them to drive the 5 minutes to my house.
I won't be returning...
If you do decide to go there, my advice is Call it in, wait 20 minuites and go pick it up... which is fine, but defeats the purpose of having a 'delivery' service.
