Let's take it from the top shall we. I took a look at their website and there is not much to it, basic information, no place for comments or reviews, but they take some great pictures. It shows a traditional Japanese setting and seating, clean, bright and a good place to eat. It?s like real estate pictures; you have to see it before you buy it. However when you get there and open the first door to walk over the koi pond, it smells like moldy fish, and you hurry to get in the second door and then you realize you?re walking on a dirty floor and that the floor is sticky (3 visits and a month later, no change). You can?t see the dirt on the floor because the lighting is either off or turned down very low. The hibachi area is nasty, the hood vents look like they haven?t been cleaned in years. I?d hate to see the kitchen. The food is severely overpriced for the small amount given, so much so that the same order in Japan would have been about half the price with twice the amount of food and that?s saying a lot. My order came out and the meat tasted spoiled, the staff apologized and re-made my order but by the time the order came out, my family was already finished with their food and ready to go. This was an hour later. They did get it right the second time around. This is the last time we eat at this establishment. So do yourself a favor and save your money or go somewhere else.
