I would like to tell you about one of your employees, Edel Vernazza whom\r went over and beyond to assist our club in accomodating us with rooms\r for The San Diego Open Tournament.\r I am a GU-14 soccer coach from the city of El Segundo. I had come to\r Edel in a desperate situation. We had to pull out of a tournament prior\r to the San Diego Open because of a bad situation. Edel was more than\r helpful in trying to make it work with a deadline. She had worked\r diligently in getting my team, (parents too) a room for the night of\r 7/28.\r Not only did she work that out, she was also successful in finding rooms\r to accomodate my brothers BU-16 team.\r \r I felt that working under the situation that was presented to her and\r being under pressure with time deadlines, her efforts should not go\r un-noted. Thank you Edel!\r \r In fact it was a pleasure to work with all of your employees there at\r the hotel. They were all very nice & helpful.\r \r A Big Shout Out For Edel & The Wyndham Employee Crew - that\r deserves at least some free pizza's! more

Ms. Moore is an excellent reprentative of Wyndham. She addressed my questions respectfully and with competence. She was well-versed in the local restaurants, prices and menus. She upgraded me to a room that was a better choice than the one I had selected. She was warm, cheerful and friendly. It was a perfect welcome. Based on the employees at this site, I would choose it over the Wyndham in Oceanside for a business stay. I will recommend it to both business travelers and families enjoying the San Diego attractions. more

I was actually pleasantly surprised. Great location: it is about 10-15 minutes away from the airport, 15 from Seaworld and is located near a bunch of food / grocery places. Excellent location. In addition, we got an excellent deal for it! We arrived and I immediately loved how the lobby looked. The man behind the front desk was quick with our reservation and was extremely helpful. The hotel here is not a hotel per say, but rather it has the feel of a motel. It s a total of 3 floors, with a huge parking lot and rooms are located in C shape around the lobby building, which is separate from their rooms. Once in the rooms, they are nice and clean, you have your own separate living room area ( which I do like) with a TV and fridge. The next adjoining room is the bedroom / sink for the bathroom. I was initially iffy about this set up since I do like having the ability to use the sink and mirror in private, but after some getting used to, it worked to our favor. ( We were able to get ready quite quickly.) The bathroom is nice and clean with an ample sized tub. First day, we got two free bottles of water but after a few days didn t get that anymore. No worries, you are close enough ( walking or driving) to get anywhere to buy some groceries to stash in the fridge. You also have access to their pool and hot tub, which we used to the full extent. Hot tub is extremely hot, so we took advantage by waking up early ( we were morning people) when it was still quite cold out and sat in the hot tub while watching the sunrise. Once it was too hot, we jumped into the nice clean pool. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here. I would highly recommend it since it gives you a feeling of your own place to stay in versus a typical hotel room. more

I am a Wyndham timeshare owner and found this hotel near everything we wanted to visit in San Diego. \r \r Sea World- 5 minutes\r San Diego Zoo-15 minutes\r Gaslamp- 10 minutes\r Belmont Park- 10 minutes\r \r Jason (and the rest of the desk staff) were super friendly and helpful...even recommended Phil's BBQ across the street. We even got a gift bag upon check in for being owners!!\r \r Downside was the parking situation during last week's holiday weekend. They are strict with their towing policy for those that aren't staying at the hotel because people use it for overflow for Phil's and the casino across the street. But they don't start towing until 11 pm. They do write parking tickets.\r \r Overall, a positive experience!! more

we booked this through hotwire. during check-in, they upgraded us to a king-bed suite and we got to choose the floor level. the room was clean and large for a hotel. the only odd thing was that we were next to the engineering room so there were some vibrations, but this wasn't a problem. the attached restaurant and bar were great. since our room rate was so low, having to pay for breakfast was fine. very nice staff. as for location, we were only in town to visit the zoo so our location didn't matter, but i'm not sure this hotel is near anything interesting other than some casinos.\r more

Not bad for the money spent. It was cheap and we got relatively nicer than cheap. The pool is heated and the hotel is clean.\r more
