I have been a Cubs fan since I was 5 years old. Nearly 30 years later, STILL a Cubs fan stuck in a world of Sox fans (Family and friends) I have stood my ground. I will defend the...

Historic Wrigley, second oldest park in the majors. People go here to see and be seen. They go for the green ivy and the cold beer. The local patrons go for the sun and fun....

Wrigley Field a Must 8/17/2005

While some complain that Wrigley is dirty and dingy, I'd have to strongly disagree. Wrigley Field is the second oldest park in the Major Leagues. There is so much history in that ballpark, it is almost too much to fathom. The overall atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. It's no suprise that this place is called the friendly confines. Even the neighborhood is friendlier than that other ball team in town. A must for any baseball enthusiast. more

best ballpark in america 8/17/2005

you can't go wrong at wrigley. place still looks great, even though it's way old. the atmosphere is awesome. one look at the real ivy and the field and you'll be hooked. you even have the rare chance to see the cubs while they are good (sorta)! best way i can think of to spend an afternoon in chicago. more

Wrigley Field 8/11/2005

The Chicago Cubs is always known as the lovable loser. Always hard to get tickets if you do it can be fun. Your better off taking the train or bus since the red line drops you off right there. Plenty of bars for you to enjoy beofre and after the game. The only problem is that there is no parking and the coops are real strict on that sicne the neighborhood is zone parking. more

Wrigley-do the tour! 8/9/2005

Last year I went on the Wrigley Field tour and it was pretty cool. They take you into the locker rooms-well, they don't let you near the lockers themselves, but you can see all of them. And the best part, you get to go out onto the field! Make sure to bring your ball and glove and a camera. Check the Cubs website for tour dates and rates-but it was pretty cheap when I went. more

The friendly confines 8/9/2005

It is hard to describe the feeling of being in the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. The history, the tradition, the ivy on the outfield walls, all remind you of a time when baseball was more than steroids and home runs. So for all those who bleed cubbie blue, or for the passing tourist, make sure to check out Wrigley Field everytime you are in Chicago. more

Baseball n More 6/18/2005

Wrigley Field is a great place to go not only to watch a Cubs game, but to have a great time as well. The fans here are great and even if you don't take much interest in baseball, you will enjoy the commentary, the food, and the drinks. This is definitely a place not to miss if you are in Chicago! more
