Worldwide Construction

I am very happy with the workmanship of Worldwide Construction. I like the fact that they cleaned up their mess and how organized they were. Mike was very nice and had the crew do exactly what i wanted. The paint they used was of great qulaity and the finish is fabulous. The color they used was perfect. i wanted a patio cover for the summer. So I decided to set up an appt. for a free estimate. So I called back Worldwide Construction and I had Yosi come out and see my patio and he agreed that I need to get a good sturdy patio cover. I am glad I had him come out and give me free estimate. Yosi's price was very good. He made it possiable for me to get a new patio cover. I decided I wanted to have it custom built by Worldwide Construction. Yosi was very nice to me and he knew all about the different patio covers. The one I had custom built is a very strong one and it will last for 10 years. Thanks Yosi. Pros: Price,work more

well I got a call out of the blue and it was a phone rep from Worldwide Construction. He asked me if i wanted to do any work on my house. I told him I was thinking about doing a bathroom remodel. He asked me what time would be best for me and my husband. I set up an appt. with him. I was very glad I did this and my husband was very pleased with the GM that came out and gave us our free estimate. We felt very comfortable from the start. The price was very reaosonable, I Like the way the layout of my bathroom came out, I love the counter tops and cabinets, it all ties into each other so nice and relaxing, the color that we used was perfect. Nati, was our contractor, He made sure that his men did a perfect job. Made sure everyone was on time and at work everyday. His workman ship was really good. He knew what he was talking about and gave us great ideas as well on oour kitchen. His listened to us and designed exactly what we wanted, the countertops were beautiful and the cabinets came out the perfect color that we wanted.. The floor matched perfect. The Project manager named Roni came out and talked with us. Was very nice and answered all our questions. He gave us great Ideas and combined them with our ideas and we liked the way the painting job came out , now our house is very noticeable and modern. I would have give negative stars if I could! Don't ever ever ever let them enter your house! They won't leave unless you sign some paper work with them. Terrible! more

I would like to commend the work done by the workers from Worldwide Construction. Alfredo and Miguel exercised profound and detailed and beautiful work. They worked diligently and very hard. The project supervisor Meir Sasson exercised excellent project management skills, ensuring all phases of r project was met with high expectations. Patio enclosure?\r \r First of all I must say that worldwide construction do a suberb job. When Mike came out and meet with Charles and Me I was very surprised how great out appt. went with him, about six months ago I was looking for contractor and i recieved a call from a contractor that was working in the area and asked me what I wanted to do and I told him I needed a patio enclosure, He gave me some really great ideas and he also added some of my ideas too. I must say my patio enclosure came out just perfect. He price was good and the work was done quick and perfect I was getting married and we needed the work done fast it was going to be a september wedding. make a long story short very happy with work, was done on time and work was grand. I met with my General Contractor, His name was Nati, He was proffesional ,knew his product and he gave me the best ideas along with what I wanted as well. He showed me the nicest counter tops and beautiful cabinets. I wanted to let Mike know how much easier he made my life. My wife Deneise has been asking me to redo our kitchen for years and I told her we had to wait and she got a call on Saturday of Jan and it was Worldwide Construction and they were working in our area and asked her if she wanted a free estimate and so she set up an appt. with them. At first I was honey its a bad time right now and she said please honey, So i agreed and I am really happy I did. MIke was very nice he showed me that first we could afford it with a loan and my wife was so pleased with his ideas and his designs. WE are so happy but most of all I am so relieved that this project is done she is happy. We did our work in Jan and the guys were on time, everyday and they finished the job when they said they would. The salesman came out to our house on a Sunday night. His name is Rony. He was extremely forceful and went on how educated he was. He proceeded to show us ""professional"" work performed by the company on his laptop. He said all of his laborers were professional, that they covered-up everything with plastic, brought in a portable toilet and that everything would be professionally done. We said we would think about it but he came on heavy handed. We were desperate to get our ONLY bathroom remodeled so we gave in. First day of work, two possible illegals you would hire on a corner came in to demo the bathroom. Then they left rotten wood on the floor and were going to cover it and not replace. They exposed only the wall in the shower which revealed rotten and moldy 2 x 4's and termite damaged lumber. They left it and sprayed it with this caustic green stuff. The sprayer missed and went all over our walls in the hall and floor heater. Then they covered the walls. The entire process went from bad to worse to horrific. Every worker they sent out did not speak English and was a different ""on the corner"" individual. They used our ladders and tables and RV toilet. No portable toilet was provided. They did not cover ANYTHING. I called to complain and they sent out Meir. He said it would be fixed. The fix was far below horrific. The work proceeded by a $10 an hour Jacinto and we became extremely irritated. Then they sent out Meir and Rony again. They said it would be done right. It wasn't and work proceeded. Then we called their office demanding work stop and re-done! They sent out Eli and Rafael at 9:00 pm. They assured me it would be done properly. It wasn't! They sent out Jacinto AGAIN and we complained. Eli said he was familiar with the job and he would fix everything. He didn't and started painting telling me he was almost done. I have videos of the entire process. I called Eli again and screamed at him telling him I did not want them to continue and I would see them in court. Then I told Jacinto to leave. I had to hire another contractor to repair everything at the cost of over $5,000. I already paid Worldwide $6,900. I am filing a complaint with the Contractor's State License Board and hope this review helps any person looking for a contractor. DO NOT USE THIS OUTFIT. BEWARE! Last year, I had one of the reps from Worldwide come to my home for an estimate on a kitchen remodel. This guy ""Jonathan"" was the most obnoxious individual I have ever met. He was at my home for at least four hours. He wasn't shy about asking for a ""cold drink and a snack"". At one point, he was literally begging me to sign the contract. I finally told him ""sorry, but you're making me uncomfortable, I want you to leave now"". He begrudgingly left in a huff. He was the most unprofessional and odd sales person I have ever met. Obviously, I never hired Worldwide. I wouldn't even hire them to build a doghouse, much less come into my home. What I found amazing is that they have a A- rating from the BBB. But a lesser rating can be found on the cslb website. Do your homework, and watch out for these guys. Pros: No Cons: Shady sales practices more

Worldwide Construction was on time. Finished on time.\r good work, always cleaned up any debris and mess. Mike the constrction manager was very detailed and explained everything to us. I definatly would reccomend this company. Pros: Dependable Contractor Cons: no draw backs more

Sean came over to my house and talked with me about what i needed and wanted , I already knew what i wanted and he was willing to do whatever i wanted. He was sweet and listened to everything i had to say. I would gladly choose him again for my outside work in the summer. He also got me a really good loan that if i paid it off within a year no interest at all. Barbra was the person who worked with me to get me my loan. She was very patient. I would say the price was really affordable and the work was impecable. Pros: Nice quality work Cons: no bad at all more

Well my project manager was Rony and he was very nice, He listened to everything i had to say and we came up with a fabulous kitchen design that was not only beautiful but very affordable. I used worldwide construction for a remodel to my home they changed the carbon copy raising the amount and adding twork without my signature and knowledge. the owner is a con artist always telling me not to worry about things and they left all my furniture on the front lawn the first day. he called me at work to recommend his work and then before checking any of the work demanded payment to the point of threatening me. i now have water damage in my kitchen and two forms of mold because they did not seal the back of my granite counter top and left a pipe open behind drywall the mold is making my family sick I lost my job and now have major damage to repair this is one company you should not even consider. I wish I could give them a negative star. Cons: high costs, owner changed contract and faulty work more

They started my bathroom remodel in August and assumed that they were finished in late October. In the contract they stated no more than 30 days. These people were disrespectful to my home and me. To date they still have not completed my hallway cabinets. When the final payment ($333.00) was due they called everyday for a week and even made threats. During the construction they broke a sentimental item in my home and told me that I had to wait for them to replace it? ???? The workers were left outside of my home, when I left they entered my home without permission through the construction window. They activated my home alarm, I did file a police report. Out of five working these guys showed up one to two days if that. They said that is was their jewish holiday and we would just have to wait. I don't recommend this company to my worst enemy! Still not satisfied. They left my walls and carpet dirty without intentions to have them cleaned. They left the demolition in the driveway, which was an eyesore for my neighbors. They scratched the $1,000 floor in my bathroom (didn't replace that either). We have paid in full which was their only concern. To boot they promised to buy us dinner at Ruth & his they also failed to do so. These people are failures, they were not concerned if we even passed our final inspection, it was all about the money, not customer satisfaction! more
