Best

It improved my knees, my depression, my self-confidence, and I made a lot of new friends. I'd recommend that anyone try for fun.

Fantastic Place to Learn to Dance 3/24/2010

I worked for Lawrence Elkin for over 10 years, and I can assure you he most definitely was *not* an alcoholic. He is one of the most respected people in the business, running three of the most successful schools in the nation. I haven't worked there for some time, so I have no reason to defend them if it's not true. Got o the BBB website under Nashville FADS (their corporate name) and you will see they have an A+ rating. The sales staff are persistent, but the service backs up the promises. You WILL learn to dance here. It's guaranteed in writing. The staff are all full-time and trained *daily*. Try to find another school that has that. They charge what they have to to stay in business and to allow the instructors a living wage. With the frequent turnover of dance schools, you can be secure that you will never go to NDC and find the place closed down with no way to recover your money. NDC has been around for over 25 years. That's the sign of a good and ethical business. Pros: Full-time instructors, Excellent facility, Top-rate service more

Great, Great, GREAT! 5/23/2008

I began dancing while in high school. After being diagnosed with scoliosis and undergoing treatment to help correct the curvature, I was no longer able to take traditional dance(ballet, tap, jazz). A few months ago, I found this place and FELL IN LOVE with dance all over again. My instructor is personable and encouraging. They help you select a dance program that is right for your schedule and based around your abilities. I feel better about myself; I have more self-confidence and more pride than ever before. I love the atmosphere and I love the challenge of learning new types of dance. I have to admit; if you don't have extra money to play with, you shouldn't commit to this. It is expensive, but I think you get more than what you pay for!!!! Where else can you gain a close friend, lose weight and stay fit, make new friends, and go out once a week (and twice every other week!) without the hassle of going to the gym and lifting weights? Sure, you could pay for a personal trainer at any work-out facility, but in my experience, the trainers aren't very friendly or encouraging. It's the exact opposite with WCP! Their instructors are versatile and knowledgeable. My boyfriend is in a wheelchair, and my instructor has been doing research the entire time he was finishing up his Senior year away at college, and now that he's home for the summer, we're starting to work with him and are getting him to dance, as well! If you have problems meeting people or just need an excuse to get out of the house, WCP offers so many different events and outings. They even have reward programs for bringing in guests! Great people! Great experience! Fabulous atmosphere! I can't say it enough; I LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm there at least two nights a week; sometimes more. You can't keep me away! Pros: Promotes Healthy Lifestyle, Fun, Great way to meet people! Cons: A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for! more

Be Careful 3/16/2008

These people will pray on your insecurities. Be prepared to pay over $100 an hour to have someone talk to you about dance. They will push you into a package even if you are reluctant. They will come out and grade you when you are running low on private lessons to tell you that you are ready for the next level. Do you really think they will tell you that you are horrible? They want your $1,000 check to start, then comes $5,000, $8,000, $12,000 to keep going. My Stupidity!!!!!! Don't let it be yours, find free lessons and groups around town if you really want to have a good time and keep your wallet full. Pros: Great Instructors Cons: Feels like a con game more
