Woody's Restaurant

I work for a medical sales company here local and we had a meeting at Woodys Steak House, it went over without a problem. The servers were very attentive, especially the waiter we had, ever one of the meals came out perfect. I would suggest Woody's to anyone having a private dinner. A friend of mine told me about this sight, and we have been on it picking where we are going to eat on our friday nights. We have been in Hendersonville for four years now, and never knew Woodys was here. Friday our friends could not attend, but my wife and I went anyway. We arrived at about 7:00, were seated pretty quick and had a wonderful time. Our steaks were Perfect, my wife always gets a Filet and I always get a Rib Eye everywhere we go. Everything was good. My husband and I have been to Woody's many times in the last few years. Our favorite servers are Michelle and Amy. It is so refreshing to go to a family owned resturant rather than a chain resturant. On Wednesday night the 2 for 1 filet cannot be beat. On Saturday, Michelle is the bartender and Sammy D plays his tunes--it is a wonderful atmosphere and service is great. We truly enjoy your establishment. more

I have eaten at Woody's twice. I have had the same server both times. She is amazing! The last time I was there she was working a private party and had the bar area too. I thought to myslelf, ""how is one server going to handle both areas?"" To my amazement, she did fabolous! I did not have to wait for drink refills and my order was prepared perfect the first time it was brought out. The server's name was Michelle. I would strongly suggest requesting her as your server anytime you visit this amazing establishment. more

On Saturday Night I meet a group at the Bar at Woody's, and had one of the best times ever. I'm a beer drinker myself, which worked out good because of their huge selection. Woody's is the best restaurant in the Nashville area. I've ordered every entree on the menu--fish, steak, prime rib--unbelievable! THE KITCHEN ROCKS!\r I would recommend Woody's for a couple on a intimate night out; while they also accomodate huge parties with absolutely no trouble.\r We have company dinners twice yearly with a party of at least 50-65 people. We have reservations, a private room, and better service with a large crowd than you can get most places as a party of 4.\r This is why for 3 years now we have our get-togethers at Woody's. My wife and I just got back from dinner at her familys, and they had Prime Rib catered in from Woody's Steak House. Now we are from the area and have been to Woody's a handfull of times but it was for the Two For One Filets. I don't know if I will ever eat anything but the Prime Rib from there again. Having previously owned a restaurant... we are pretty picky about where we eat. My husband, a steak aficianado, LOVES the strip. I think the filet mignon (which is two for one EVERY Wed. night) is awesome! They also have the best homemade dressings and yeast rolls. Plus the location is great... being in Hendersonville you otherwise have to drive to Rivergate to eat. By the Way-Don't forget to try the Woody's Potato! Pros: Awesome Lounge Area more

This place has the best steaks around...also it is a great place for a date with your honey..the service was excellent and the filet was outstanding..they have live entertainment on Wednesday and Friday and 2 for 1 Filet on Wednesday..they also make everything from scratch..(dressings, bread,sauces etc)..there is a banquet room upstairs to accomadate large groups and parties, which is hard to find...highly recommended..... \r ....................p.s....try the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake..its awesome Pros: food and service Cons: may have to wait on busy nights more

The food is great and all, but I took a look around and noticed this place was mapped out differently, unlike a normal restaraunt... turns out it used to be a mortuary! Having been the the restaraunt a hand full of times, neither their steak dinner, nor their Sunday Brunch was anything overly impressive, and their salad bar lacked big time of anything really appetizing. more

This place has a wonderful atmosphere, nice people and the food is awesome! I've eaten here several times so far and each time, I go for something different - you can't go wrong with any of their choices! Every Wednesday night, they have 2-for-1 filet mignons! After looking around Rivergate for somewhere to go eat and finding no less than a 50 minute wait at any of the usual chains (Rafferty's, O'Charlie's and Copeland's), my g/f and I decided to try Woody's. I have driven past Woody's for years and always wondered how it was We were seated immediately in this small, quaint place. The service was good and the food was out of this world. Generous portions at a reasonable price. The prime rib was excellent. Just don't let your eyes be bigger than your stomach. Woody's is worth the trip!!
