I've been here several more times more than I would've liked because of peer pressure. I usually give in because it's an okay restaurant and much better compared to some of other places my friends wanted to go to. The bbq sauce was too tart and there was too much sauce and it's overpriced compared to other (better) bbq restaurants. Their mix drinks - I had a raspberry mojito and one of their fancy margaritas - weren't worth it at all. Too much sugary syrup.
The quality of the ingredients are generally good, but the menu items are priced much higher than they're worth. One of my friends really like this place because the tri-tip isn't sliced. I'm not a tri-tip fan, but I did notice some improvement over sliced tri-tip from other restaurants. If you're a tri-tip fan, this might be worth checking out. For people like me who rather hold out for a real steak will have to look elsewhere.
What I normally go for when I go to BBQ places are the beef and pork ribs. I tried both their beef ribs and pork ribs with and without the BBQ sauce, but as expected, it's not very flavorful without the sauce.
The their desserts are good (and unfortunately it shows in the price) and would come back just for that.
Overall, it's not a bad restaurant, but I don't like their BBQ sauce, so I don't see it as a place worthy of my money or my caloric and fat intake.
Pros: Beer on tap is good.
Cons: Overpriced and overrated. Mixed drinks are not worthwhile.
