Wongs Garden 8/10/2006

The food here is great! Every time my family gets Chinese food we go here! You can get take out or dine there. I like the egg rolls and almond chicken. =] Its located between 9 and 10 mile on Harper. The service is pretty good and everyone there is very kind. One time they gave me a bag of free fortune cookies. =] more

Where I first fell in love with almond chicken. 4/25/2006

Living so close to a chinese restaurant made it easy to try their dishes. Wongs has been at this Harper location since the seventies and I graduated in the same class with one of their daughters. This is family owned and they are very caring and generous. One time our class from school went there on a field trip to learn about their culture. The whole family came out and greeted us and gave us samples of many of their fine dishes. Wong's than became an immediate hit!!! They also gave us loads of fortune cookies!!! more

Nice place to have lunch or dinner! 8/13/2005

Offers great Chinese food! Parking is ample, located all around the business, which is located on Harper Avenue, between 9 and 10 Mile Roads. Prices are comparable to other chinese restaurants in the area. The menu is also similar. The food is great, especially the sweet and sour chicken!! more

Cantonese Style Chinese at it's BEST 8/10/2005

I have been going to Wongs Garden everytime I visit the Detroit area. I grew up in Detroit and this was a must growing up to visit. Wongs is a family owned Chinese restuarant with the best bread ever. I have never had anything there that wasn't incredible. The owners are incredibly nice people and the servers are always excellent. You can order out if you want, but you should really consider dining in. I can't say enough good things about this place. The only downfall is that in MI restuarants, smoking is allowed. more
