I've only recently started going to this practice. I dont have any major concerns with the doctors or even the staff when i meet them in person. But while trying to contact the office for just a normal clarification whether records have reached, whether they recieved a test result etc. - it is: \r
1) Either very difficult to get through to them - the line is engaged for very long like for hours...\r
2) When we finally manage to get thru', you get put on HOLD for a good 5 mins or so\r
3) when you complain about the hassle of reaching them on the phone, they told me that I could call any of the other Women's Health Care Group locations and they would be able to help out. Which is not true - as when i did try that too, the staff at the other locations could not help as the questions I had pertained to my records/ test results which is not in a centralized place!\r
4) the last incident was relating to a change of appt. due to unavailability of the doctor for an existing appointment. I had recieved the message regarding this and wanted to reschedule as they requested - but though their lunch time is between 1 - 2:30pm everday - and I called only around 2:40pm, i still got forwarded to the regular after-hours service person. Who asked me to call up another number saying that is the central number for all scheduling related things. When i call up that number, they could not help me with my request - because they did not know about the doctor's changed availability! And then after a long wait, i was told to call up the North Wales office number again and get my appointment rescheduled. \r
\r
So it is really painful to recieve this kind of treatment repeatedly! I dont understand how after they have such a long lunch break of 1 - 2:30pm, they still have their answering service on?!!! They really should have more phone lines if that's the issue (OR) have some sort of phone menu so that the calls are diverted to the correct parties. But there really is no excuse to not answering genuine phone calls from their patients which only they can answer. They have to understand that their patients are also busy people who are at work and are trying to reach them during the few minutes they get inbetween for a genuine need.
Pros: convenient location
Cons: office staff dont pick up normal phone calls
