Best

I've never been pregnant, so I cannot speak to their abilities in that area. I have been very pleased with them taking care of my annual check ups. The office is very well organiz...

Worst

I was new to Austin a couple years ago and went to WPIH for my Ob/Gyn care. I never had to wait very long to see my doctor, which was nice, but then the doctor seemed rushed when...

You can find better in Austin 9/23/2006

They do not give you the information that you need in time of crisis. I would not recomend to anyone, especially woman that want a natural childbirth experience. If you want more information you can e-mail me at freecycle_queen@yahoo. \r I have an interesting story and I would be happy to tell you why I wouldn't go back. Cons: terrible parking more

No Complaints Here! 8/10/2006

I've been coming here for 4 years now for my yearly check-ups and have never had a problem. All of the staff are very friendly and make you feel at ease. The longest I've ever had to wait to see the doctor has been 15 minutes - which I hear is pretty normal at a gynecologist office. I've referred all my girl friends and will continue to do so! more

Dr. Yium is not who I thought she was 8/9/2006

Yium delivered my first child. She knew I wanted another baby. I miscarried & she handled that well. When I was pregnant the next time she said the sac was empty & that she could give me something to start the miscarriage. I said I'd wait. After researching a little & finding that sometimes it's too early to see the embryo (can take up to 11 weeks from what I've read several times) I called the Nurse to inquire about a twisted uterus. She dismissed me telling me that had nothing to do w/it. Saw dr 2 weeks later as scheduled, still nothing. I still refused meds preferring for Nature to takes its course. I was only 9 weeks (actually prob only 6 -- cycle had been going haywire for several months). Called Nurse again just to ask if dr would draw blood just to see where counts were. She had not done any testing up this point. Nurse sounded irritated & said she was calling in meds to make me miscarry. Decided to end relationship with Dr. then. Dr called next day -- started out condescening. She really wasn't looking out for my best interest -- peace of mind -- although she said that they would have done a 3rd ultra sound. I asked ""when?"" because her nurse would have had me already taking the miscarriage inducing meds. When a dr/nurse calls in a rx you're not expected to see the dr before you start taking it. I wasn't being unrealistic. It was just being forced on me even though I was still in my first trimester. misdiagnosedmiscarriage is a great source. Pros: Easy to get to Cons: too quick to push for abortion more

Exceedingly long waiting time! Very uncaring Doctors. 6/13/2006

These doctors might not be so bad if they didn't make you wait so long. To me it shows disrespect for the patient to consistently have to wait over an hour for each appointment. I can understand an occassional emergency, but this is EVERY time and it is often over an hour. There are too many good doctors in Austin to waste your time waiting around for one group that is mediocre. Go across the street to Austin Area Ob/Gyn! They are real doctors there! Much nicer! Pros: Location is convenient near Seton Central Cons: Doctors act as though you are wasting their time. more

Awesome Doctor 5/24/2006

Dr. Swenson is so kind and compassionate. She delivered my now 5 year old and cared for me through one miscarriage and one false pregnancy. She's amazing, and I would never go to anyone else!! more

Not very nice! 2/9/2006

I had an appointment to see Vanessa Yuim to resolve a problem that has been bothering me four five months. What a waste of time, she didn't even seem to care about the pain I am in. She just told me what all the other doctors told me that she didn't know what could be wrong. I also didn't like what I heard while waiting in the exam room, I had been waiting for a little over 30 mins. when the nurse walked in and said ""oh I'm sorry"" and walked out. Then I heard the nurse say ""there is a lady waiting in this room for you"" then the doctor said ""Well she is going to have to wait"" I am not going back!! more

Best Around! 1/9/2003

She is a wonderful and caring doctor! I would recommend her to all of my friends. more
