1. They assume consent and never ask.\r 2. They don't share critical information that might influence choices (e.g. women under 40 with a breast lump do not have cancer, availability of HPV DNA testing, false positive rates for clinical breast and pelvic exams, etc.).\r 3. 3 false positives. All worked up and then celebrated as successes.\r 4. 3 pregnancies, all with last minute surprises.\r 5. Pregnancy and birthing processes involve constant invasive examination for no benefit (see last minute surprises). Hugely distracting.\r 6. Myopically focused on sex organs (no blood lipid panel during entire decade with them). more

Worst experience ever. The staff at this office are rude and obnoxious. They called me and then said hold just a minute and transfereed me and some young girl gets on the phone with an attitude asking me what i need. I told her you called me I didn't call you and she got even more hateful. They gave out all of my personal information to my mother and refused to take her number out of their system after repeated request from both of us. If you want to be treated like nothing more than a number go ahead and use this facility but I would strongly suggest against it. more

I would think twice about going there again 5/15/2012

The doctors at Womancare got the important things right. They delivered my twins safely. And I'm grateful for that. But along the way there were too many frustrations. They seem to have too many patients and the waits during "appointments" were ridiculous. I would wait an hour. And when I was called inside, the nurse would say, "oh, I don't know why they had you wait an hour. The machine has been available the whole time." There were billing mistakes. And they don't make it easy to understand the bills. One doctor told me I had a urinary tract infection. Then she walked out, came back in and said, "oh, that was a misunderstanding. You don't have a UTI." Another doctor could barely work with the computer in front of her and therefore couldn't see much about my history. At one point they sent me to the hospital as a precaution without any thought to cost. My insurance said they didn't think the second night at the hospital was medically necessary and wouldn't pay for it. In summary, the doctors and staff are very nice, but there is room for improvement in their practice. Pros: null Cons: null more

Disrespectful and cold! 10/25/2010

New to the area, I was needing to locate a new OB/GYN. Having scheduled my appointment 2 months in advance - I showed up to my appointment only to be told that they wouldn't see me because I hadn't completed an on-line new patient history form. I explained that I had never been told about this form (prior to my appointment I'd even gone to their website to see if there were any new patient forms that needed to be downloaded and completed - which there weren't, no guidance at all for new patients on their website). I was simply told that paperwork should have been emailed or mailed to me, containing a password to log on to system (guess I should have gotten out my crystal ball and known that this is how they handled things - silly me). No sympathies or benefit of the doubt given to me. If this is how they strive to make a first impression with a new patient - I can only wonder how much compassion and understanding they would show if I were in a precarious or frightning medical situation. Would not recommend, and will not be rescheduling - there has to be someplace better. more

Great Team that Really Cares! 7/30/2009

I am currently pregnant with my 4th child (third as a patient of Womancare). I have pretty complicated pregnancies and have always had complete trust in the team at Womancare. I love that they have registered dieticians on-site to help manage nutrition during pregnancy. This time I have Gestational Diabetes and have had a lot of support from Jennifer Greenly, one of the dieticians. Additionally, the doctors are WONDERFUL. I especially like Dr. Lipscomb and Dr. Oliver, but ALL of the doctors at Womancare are easy to talk to and very supportive. I also adore the u/s techs! Cons: None more

Wonderful choice!!! 11/6/2008

Dr. Luper is a caring and understanding woman, who listens to everything and answers your questions in terms you can understand. She has became my pick in the office where she works. She doesn't try to rush through things and takes her time with you. I would recommend her to anyone. more
