Wolverine Crossing

Wolverine Crossing was a cool place. I moved to Utah from across the country for my first year at UVU. Some of the pros of living here are: you're SUPER close to the Front Runner (which is free if you have a student bus pass), the UTA also stops right by the G and F buildings so you can get to UVU or BYU pretty fast if you take the 830 or 831, it feels extremely safe because of the way the buildings are shaped, management is amazing, your ward is right next to the apartments, and everyone is pretty friendly. Cons would just be that some apartments aren't exactly what Wolverine shows you in your tours (but that happens everywhere), you have no idea who you'll be rooming with unless you sign up with another person, and at night it's SO loud outside because most of the guys/girls outside Wolverine after 1am are bro's wearing tank tops blasting dubstep through their car radio. more

I lived there for 3 years, Tiffany Peck the manager there was ridiculous, constantly put our apartment through the ringer she really had it in for us. During those 3 years I had probably a dozen roommates come and go and when it was my turn to move out she stuck me with a several hundred dollar bill to replace couches that everyone had used. Constant consolidation, moving you around from one apartment to another mid contract, letting themselves in going through your room, letting random people come clean without letting you know they are coming. Constantly invading your privacy. Every other day they put spam flyers or harassing letters of some sort on your door. You come home from work 70 percent chance one will be there. As far as facility I liked it, just their management and incompetent staff dishonesty gives this 2 stars. more

Wolverine crossing is a joke! plain and simple. The buildings are a piece of crap. Its not taken care of at all, the walls are disgusting, and the elevators are even worse. The price is way too expensive for this sht hole of a place. Tow truck drivers are a bunch of crooks and wolverine crossing just lets it happen. Take it from a super chill guy from Socal. Dont live here continue your search. more

Wolverine Crossing has not been too bad of a place to live up until recently. They charge all 6 people in my apartment 40 bucks a month for utilities, yet they lock the thermostats in at 73 degrees. This is absolutely unacceptable to me. And yes, the 5 star ratings are obviously posted by staff members which is why everyone else who are not are posting 1 star. more

i was reading reviews for local apartments to stay at and i've heard from several people not to go there, but then i noticed that out of 26 reviews it had 5 stars...so i thought i'd do some investigating.... ha! what a joke. seriously? WC staff and owners have obviously posted so far over 24 extremely short and bogus reviews all with FIVE stars....HA! they must've caught wind of an actual person who reviewed it and gave it the rating it deserved and then they tried to boost their rating with a bunch of fake accounts. i mean c'mon...we're not that stupid. this is such a load. look at these 2 reviews back-to-back: ""love my apartment by hollywood guest at Citysearch I have been very impressed w/my experience here so far. I love my apartment and the whole atmosphere here. 10/26/10 Very impressed by day12345 at Citysearch I have been very impressed w/my experience here so far. I love my apartment and the whole atmosphere here."" what a joke. they copied and pasted, and that is the epitome of this place. just on principle...i will never rent from WC and neither should anyone else. avoid it like the plague. more

Living at Wolverine Crossing has been EXTREMELY DETRIMENTAL to my scholastic career, and my life in general. If you're a student that takes their education seriously I would highly recommend you stay away. WC has a confrontational, mean-spirited staff that actively looks for reasons to evict their tenets, serving them evictions papers over small, trumped-up violations, regardless of it being the middle of a school semester. My apartment was noisy from neighbors on all four sides, and dirty upon moving in, staff members would often enter my apartment when I was not there and re-arrange/remove things, repairs took a long time to get done and were not done satisfactorily, and my personal property was missing after a staff member had been in my apartment alone. WC is an overpriced, ugly, small, poorly-circulated rat-hole with the slowest elevators and internet in the country. Contaminated, closed-down swimming pools, expensive washer/dryers that dont dry clothes even after spending several dollars. Constant harassment from the local religious organization including unrelenting flyers and posters for religious events as well as religious tracts/magazines, and even the local clergy, delivered directly to your doorstep. more

I have enjoyed living here - Sometimes there are issues with noise, or the appliances/utilities it takes a long time to get them fixed, but I understand that you have A LOT of calls to respond to. The activities are all really fun, and the amenities are cool too. more

Really fun activities, easygoing. Easy to talk to people & CA's. Noise hasn't been too loud! more

I love living here! Sometimes its hard to meet friends but the CA's do an awesome job at planning fun activities each month. more

I like the environment but it could be more social. I am glad that Boys & Girls are in one building now. CA's are great =) more
