Wok N' Roll is now my go-to Chinese food restaurant in Cambridge. It compares favorably to the quality of the food at Yenching (not as good, but not greasy) and Sunrise in Roxbury/Northeastern. Tasty food, great aromas, good portions. Not greasy. Love the General Gao's Chicken, the fried rice, the chow fun. The delivery is astonishingly quick: consistently 10 minutes faster than the Grubhub estimates. Food is hot and fresh. Some downsides: usually no chopsticks, few utensils (but fortune cookies!), and the dumplings are weird (too bready, like pork nuggets wrapped in wonderbread). Highly recommended as one of the best Chinese Delivery services in Cambridge/Somerville area. more

This is our Chinese delivery place of choice. The portions are sizable, they are always accommodating with requests (no onions, etc), and the delivery is prompt. Great value, we love it. more

Ordering food from Wok n Roll restaurant has always been a pleasant experience. First of all, the food arrives amazingly quick (the restaurant is not far away from my residence - but even then I wouldn't expect the service to be this fast). Second, the portion sizes are great. Third, and most importantly, the food tastes good. This time we tried the Singapore rice noodles, which I thought were excellent. The Schezwan spicy shrimp appeared to be a bit too sweet for our liking (we usually expect the Schezwan sauce to be more spicy), but the shrimps were cooked perfectly and were really tender, yet flavorful. The crab rangoons were good too. I have really started liking this restaurant. more

Pretty good food, better than I thought it would be. The pan fried noodles are excellent. The ribs were a little overdone but still tasty. Deliver was very quick. Would definitely order from here again. more

best ever 2/15/2008

Let me tell you something, anybody who dislikes wok n' roll doesnt have a clue. i have a group of friends that travel all the way from the south shore just for the delicious food wok n' roll has to offer. the general gao's is second to none and the crab rangoons are better than any others i have ever had. the food i s all fresh and it never disappoints. also the way the menu is set up is perfect. you can create your own convenient meal with perfect portions of your favorites for one good price. 10 out of 10!!!!! Worst Chinese food 10/15/2006

I love Chinese food. I eat it at least once a week and let me tell you, this place is the worst Chinese place I have EVER eaten! They put in sooo much MSG, it gave me a headache and I downed 3 bottles of water in one sitting. I ordered Hunan Spicy Pork and it was just batter with no meat. I threw out the scallion pancakes after taking one bite. With so many good Chinese restaurants, why eat here? Pros: They deliver Cons: Worst chinese food. Disgusting amounts of MSG more
