If there are any reviews about Winter Haven (now called UNIVERSITY TOWERS) that are good than I guarantee it was the University Towers that put it up here themselves not anyone that has lived there. Do not live in the apartment complex. It will be the worst decision of your life. The apt's are nice and big but the management is a nightmare. Don't listen to them lie when they give you a tour and tell you that the management has changed because they just put a new inexperienced person in the office who treats everyone who lives there like crap or even just make up the fact that the management changed. \r

I lived here for a full year and they will charge you for everything! You will not pass a cleaning check if you clean your apt becuase they just want that much extra money. They even charge you way more than they say when you fail a cleaning check so they can ""send in a cleaning person"" to do the job for you. They will not send someone in to clean your apt, but they will charge you for it. Almost every month I had to go into the office and ask why the random $70 was put on my account and they would apologize and take it off because there was no reason for it to be on there it was a ""mistake"". \r

One time the manager walked into my apartment without knocking, went into my locked room, and saw that I had stuff in both of the closets since I hadn't had a roommate for 6 months. I was charged $150.00 for ""trespassing"" and given an eviction notice if I did not move my clothes within 3 days I would be kicked out. It was the most ridiculous thing ever, I moved my clothes in less than 2 minutes but was still charged the fee.\r

All of my 7 other roommates during this time hated it and were treated the same if not worse than I was. Do not sign a contract here and if someone you know is going to, tell them not to! You will go through hell, and selling your contract is so difficult and the office will not help you at all. \r
